That's how we win the game. Limit possessions, control the clock, make the fewest mistakes, and make a huge play on special teams and we have a great chance.
And everybody including me will be beechin about this boring, uncreative and unimaginative three yards and a cloud of dust offense that scores 15 points a game. They better do better than that or the short honeymoon is going to be reeeaaallly short. Old school ball sounds nice and tough now, but when the offense hits the field and it feels like a trip to the dentist for a root canal...everybody will hate it.

I don't really think it will be that way. It better not for all concerned.

I was looking at some of the pics from practice on 247 and noticed Chryst had his right knee wrapped up pretty securely. I'm sure it's just preventative, but I wonder if his knee is back to its 2016 form or not. Hope so. His ability to run and scramble is pretty underrated, IMO. Some of his best plays thus far in his career have been thanks to that ability.

Drew Locke’s in the defend your younger self’s Tweets sweepstakes. From when he was in MIDDLE SCHOOL! Called a friend a British cigarette and issued a fake Geico commercial where he said “Can Geico save you 15% on your insurance? Do black people like Flaming Hot Cheetos?” Not the N-word...a funny sounding and not demeaning stereotype from the family of white people walk and dance funny and don’t season their potato salad. Pray for us.

I am sick of the PC lynch mob..The guy was a kid, he should tell em all to screw off.

When he was at UF he told a recruit(can't remember which one just that he was highly rated) that God had sent him(Urban) a dream that he was meant to coach him. That solidified his sleazeball status for me.
Michael Taylor..LB. Urbz even supplied tears for the farce he pulled on Taylor and his folks..then he quit.

I just want to take a minute to talk about something vis a vis this Urban business that really bothers me. This is definitely oversharing, but here it goes anyway.

A while back there was an expose where Urban Meyer talked very openly about his struggles with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder. I have OCD and while popular culture treats it mostly as a compulsion to do things like turn the lights off and on, it can be absolutely debilitating, mentally and emotionally, if it's bad enough, and mine was really bad. Like suicidal bad. I finally got help and it changed my outlook on a lot of things about how we treat mental health more generally. Then you have this amazingly successful football coach put his story out there and I saw so much of myself in it. Like obviously Meyer is way richer and more powerful than I will ever be, but at the end of the day we're all individuals and the human experience can be remarkably similar from one person to the next. My respect for him grew immensely. I'd always thought he was a sleazeball but now I saw a new side that suggested that maybe his demons had gotten the best of him in the past, as they had me for so long, and maybe he really was a changed person who was going to do things differently. It gave me hope and I so admired someone putting their mental problems front and center and trying to remove the stigma from them.

And it turns out he's (apparently) exactly the sleazeball I thought he was before. It really bums me out.
You had it right when you said that we’re all individuals. Don’t put anyone on a pedastool. We all screw up.

That’s just a compression sleeve, unless you are seeing something else somewhere.

Just keeps the area warm for circulation, compression provides some recovery benefits if it is worn for a few hours after a session, and the tactile feedback of a sleeve helps mentally, giving a sense of security and support for some people

And can I just point out how silly it was that he had to write such an obsequious apology? "Oh, I've changed as a person since then." Yeah, I friggin' hope so, buddy. 13 year olds are cruel and stupid and we all cringe at who we were when we were 13.

His whole apology should have just been "I was 13."

I've used compressive sleeves before on one of my knees. That looks bulkier than a compression sleeve around the knee area. Zoom in and you can see a metal frame.

Doubt it's a big issue or anything, just noticed it. Hoping Chryst is out there moving around like his 2016 self again.

Yeah... dunno man. Looks like standard issue, a little loose around the knee to me.

You’re welcome to knife fight me in the streets over it if you’d like. I’m doing some shopping now, then getting a cream puff, but after that I’ve got some time

lol no need for knife fights. But there's clearly some type of hinge on the knee area if you zoom in on it.

Does anyone else find it funny that ESPN was hyping up Manzels first cfl game with a day long marathon of his games at ATM and then that happens

It's because they suck as a sports news source anymore. Last night I turned on ESPN for the first time since last year and they were debating on some basketball dudes new tattoo. It's horse piss anymore.
