Am I the only person that thinks Bishop should be 3rd in the running back rotation?

He shouldn't be third but Star should be ahead of him. Honestly nothing Peyton Lewis has done outside of bulldozing that syracuse defender has impressed me much - so I'd have Bishop getting carries ahead of him for the time being.

If they were smart they’d go back to their roots with the 1-2 punch like we did with Alvin and Sampson two different coaching styles but same principle ..I like the idea of having a bulldozer on short yardage and then giving the rock to a play maker in space that’s definitely star..so in my opinion (1)Lewis and (2)star and never look back.

Guys I didn’t recognize your offense on Saturday. So many of the pass game tendencies that I was expecting to see were gone. Bunch looks, out routes, combination play, quick hitters inside—none of those things were possible in prior years given the alignment. I though the offense was so much more effective and multiple.

We all knew deep shots were going to be crucial, and Aguilar has a tendency to launch the ball in what I call an “arm punt”: high arc, slightly underthrown. And he did that three times on Saturday for 2 TDs and 1 int. If those numbers hold up and Brazzell keeps coming down with them, yall are going to win a lot of football games. A lot. And Brazzell looked so sharp on his routes, too. Giving him room to break outside is just so dangerous and is a potent new addition to your offense.

The pass game was so much more fluid and varied than in years past. I don’t know if it’s JA being better at reading the field or if Heupel is adapting his offensive style, but it was remarkably different. You could see defenders slow down to think instead of just playing fast with one job.

Accurate and applaud the post. But y'know I can't accept a dawg posting kind things right now!!

Kiffins never winning a championship. He is the KING of dropping important games. I know many on volnation have a hard-on for him, but the guys had tons of opportunities to take the next step and just can't do it. Please go to Florida. Give them hope. Prolong their suffering.
No hard-on for the douchecanoe, but he's very good at doing more with less, similar to Hype. If he ever went to a program with more ability to attract talent, he'd be pretty dangerous.

Sidenote, but the "never" folks said the same about Harbaugh, Day, hell...some quickly forget about this but that was a huge tag on Kirby by a lot of morans for a long time, and now they're coming for Hype. Some folks are just too impatient to see an arc through. Still obsessed with "iF YoU dOnT wIN iT alL By Y2 YoU nEvEr WiLL!!" despite the above, Dabo, Coach O spitting in the face of the entire concept.

I was told Joey shouldn't throw 50/50 balls, because they'd be picks against an SEC team like UGA. . .

I see where that thought comes from, but our wrs (specifically Brazzell), are picking those suckers out of the sky. They have to be more like 80/20 balls at this point.
Good point. Always have been decent plays imo. The whole "50/50" notion is so stupid. JG did the same and fed off it.

And if it's done on 3rd down, it's a punt at worst.

Not @ you ofc, but fact is only 7 out of 136 teams have faced more PLAYS. Of course our volume stats won't be great.

PER PLAY, we are 51st in total defense (63rd percentile), having faced the #1 passing offense (again), top-3 talented UGA, and 3/4 of what we allowed to ETSU were against 3rd and 4th stringers, all while being completely stripped of our best defenders.

Get healthy and get back to 20 ppg or less standard. Our offense will double that easily.
