Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

My point was made to an original post about after injury Alabam is down to a 3* starter.

I don’t believe Saban left because he was worried about NIL but unless he had a 70m NIL budget he was not going to convince 5* to sit the bench and wait anymore without twice as much money as others.

Roy Williams in my opinion walked away pre NIL due to the free transfer rule. NIL just made it worse and Saban saw the two of those together meant he would have to become a people person, this is what CJH has been doing. People and relationships over money, pay people what is fair and don’t upset 10 to save 1. That’s hard work.
This isn't Saban saying this was his only reason for leaving, but I guarantee you it was a huge part of it. He knew he could no longer build the same caliber of team when his rivals could suddenly legally out-bid him.

“I thought we could have a hell of a team next year, and then maybe 70 or 80 percent of the players you talk to, all they want to know is two things: What assurances do I have that I’m going to play because they’re thinking about transferring, and how much are you going to pay me?” -Nick Saban

Well the authentic version would have more steps.

But in the rice cooker it's kind of a "throw it all in" approach.

Long Grain Rice (White or Jasmine)
Oil
Onion (finely chopped or powder)
Garlic (minced or powder)
Salt
Peppers (when making for family this gets left out cause they have zero spice tolerance)
Tomato Bouillon (the kind of secret weapon honestly)
Water (or chicken broth)

Depending on the rice cooker/portion the amounts vary. For my typical approach it's 1 cup of dry rice (using the cup that comes with the rice cooker, not a measuring cup) then fill liquid to the 1 in rice cooker itself. A good size spoonful of the Tomato Bouillon goes in, about a tablespoon of oil then the rest is to taste...
Thanks for sharing the details. You're ingredients and process are pretty much exactly what we currently do.

Two minor differences: we use Adobe instead of salt and use this guy below instead of a rice cooker. It's definitely not something I would recommend for a college student or new cooker but damn it makes some good rice.

A pain to clean but worth it - Robot or human?

I'm old school. Stick free pot, 2 ccups water, 1 cup rice...and seasoning

Sean Sparks (yes I know grain of salt) is saying Gibson has a serious peck injury. Unsure if we see him again this year unless we make a playoff run. I usually don’t post his stuff because it’s usually already been reported on but this is the first I’m seeing on Gibson.
