My take....Just watched the full game replay...Perry was an 'illegal man downfield' because the DE all but ripped his helmet off (refs missed the illegal hands to the face call, of course). apparently, that was enough for the rage switch to flip for him...

idc if he actually messed up the block, i choose to believe my story instead

He don't even have a boat. Probably gonna strap that motor to a lawn chair lashed to a couple water skis and a BBQ grill and take off towards Neyland on Saturday.

I could understand why some recruits took discounts while Saban was there, as reported because of his NFL pull, but why now? I really don’t think that’s the case anymore, jmo.

It's not nearly what it used to be but it's still a thing because of Bama's reputation as an NFL factory. It's definitely happening to a lesser degree now and it eventually won't happen at all which is what AJ was trying to illustrate to Bama fans. There would be no reason to invent that.

Wrestlers are pretty brand loyal though and Rudis has really dominated the market lately plus they're wrestling-focused. Adidas does have great stuff though.

I'll be interested to see how our Adidas contract is going to help women's soccer and T&F.

Bc what would be the point of taking less? One would think it’s to be developed at Bama bc you believe going there is better than other options. Why take less and then give sh*t effort? That doesn’t get you good film for the NFL. That doesn’t get you paid in the portal.

As for their mass exodus every December, this is only Y2 for DeBoer. He’s only had one December there.

But for reference:

- Bama had 25 hit the portal
- Vols had 25 hit the portal
- UGA had 20 hit the portal
- OSU had 15 hit the portal
- Miami had 22 hit the portal
- LSU had 23 hit the portal
- A&M had 30 hit the portal

The team they just lost to FSU had 25+ hit the portal since last year.

Are these also teams that have trouble with NIL?

I'm not sure what you think that proves. You can't just quantify what teams lose to the transfer portal by simply comparing numbers. That doesn't tell you anything. I'm not going to get into a back and forth on this though. I'm done.
