I'd say he's not really far away from a 4.6. Maybe he just looks faster because he picks the right time to take off, but he didn't move around like Peyton when he tried to run.

Besides that, you can see his experience in how he stays calm and steps into the pocket without going straight into panic mode as soon as the 1st wr is covered. If you watch closely, you can see him slide through his reads. . . but instead of jumping straight from one to the next, he uses his head to hold the lbs or safeties for a second and makes the throw with defenders breathing down his neck.

The boy can play ball. I just hope he keeps producing the same as the schedule gets tougher and the pressure ramps up.

I think he really grasps how big of an opportunity he has here and is gonna make the most of it at all costs.

That could be true but I don’t believe it.

Guys took a discount NIL deal to go put lackadaisical play on their film? Nah they’re getting paid.

What does how much they are getting paid have anything to do with what they put on film? No one said they weren't getting paid. Just that they can make more elsewhere and if that wasn't the case then why the mass exodus of players every December? AJ McCarron isn't the first to say this and he won't be the last. You can believe whatever you like.

The other 5 were 53% or better (albeit a cheat Michigan team...🤮).

We're now 54%. We should be happy. Cheaters aside, it tells me you can pull it off with elite offense and QB (FSU '13, Clemson x 2, LSU 2019).

That talent is not getting developed...at ALL...it does not matter how much talent you have if it remains, undisciplined and soft.

And that is exactly what all that talent is at Alabama now...highly rated guys are going there, especially on defense, and ruining their careers until they are smart enough to transfer to a school that actually coaches them.

They look absolutely pathetic and soft.

I think he may turn out to be more effective because he will probably use his brain to determine when and where to run, instead of doing one of Nicos improv spazzouts when he panicked.

Noco had some really good designed runs and even sone good improvisational runs, and he looks really fluid and athletic when he is not just outright panicking.

I liked a lot of his runs, but stepping back and thinking about it makes me wonder how many times there were multiple wrs open that he missed seeing because he went straight to panic mode. I've seen several plays like that pointed out. I'd bet there are at least 3-5 plays in every game that he completely whiffed on his reads and opted to run instead.
