- Rad tech was not given instructions other than "right wrist"
- Rad tech didn't ask me where the suspected injury was
- took 3 images, 2 of which are the same view of the scaphoid bone, the other obscures the scaphoid
- images sent to some physician at a desk somewhere, with no instructions on injury location
- he says "these scans are normal, no injury and no soft tissue damage" after primary care documented significant pain and swelling of wrist and thumb
Still waiting for primary to call me with instructions. As a former athlete who has dealt with all kinds of sores, sprains, strains, breaks, etc I know how this is supposed to/should work. This ain't it.
I long for the days when I could call Franklin Bone and Joint, set an appointment, and see an ortho who will directly give diagnostics and guide the Rad tech through the positions he/she wants to see on scans, and you walk out that day with an answer and treatment.
