Making our world softMy neighbor's 13 year old boy asked me if I have any work for him to make a dollar. He wants to buy a ps5 or whatever the new game system is. I told him I'd give him $250 to pressure wash my decks and privacy fence.
He worked for about 2 or 3 hours when a lady I've never seen before pulls in. She jumped out crying that I have "a 10 year old working out in the summer heat". . . saying that there are businesses that do this type of work and kids shouldn't be doing it. I told her not to worry about it, mind her down business and get the he** out of here. I fully expect her husband to be here any minute crying about how I talked to her. . .
I remember remember doing this type of work when I was 13. What the heck is wrong with people these days?
Thanks! Never really heard of it but will look into it.ApoE genotype. Check it. We're learning more every day about how ApoE4 affects calcium, cholesterol, heart, brain, cancer, etc. The good news is that diet and supplementation can eliminate most/all of the risk from it, but it's not likely things you would do otherwise.
High cholesterol can be caused by many things, but the gene I mentioned is one cause. And for the record, cholesterol isn't harmful. Inflammation is harmful. Cholesterol can be a symptom of inflammation, but cholesterol is also what the body uses to deal with the damage from inflammation. The real focus shouldn't be cholesterol, but inflammation. Some mainstream docs are now admitting what alternative practitioners have been saying for years. My cardiologist was a straight line "take your statin" guy, but has now changed his mind on most of the "conventional" wisdom. He isn't alone.
I don't think his seat is really even warm at 7-5. There isn't much he can do to get on a hot seat after this season. If he does it in back to back seasons and it's effecting recruiting too, I think he'll ease up into a pressure cooker. . .for those of you negas thinking 7-5 is really possible, do you expect Heupel’s seat to start getting warm then? Because it would be.
8-4 is the floor. 9-3 is what we’ll be. 10-2 the ceiling.
No way is it warm at 7-5. People would be disappointed but you can't just discount how bad the program was in the 10 or 12 years preceding his arrival.for those of you negas thinking 7-5 is really possible, do you expect Heupel’s seat to start getting warm then? Because it would be.

The fact Star Thomas is getting rave reviews is fantastic. Everyone knows Bishop and Lewis are going to produce, so having the third back show so much promise just means we’re about to run the hell out of the ball.Practice report from today seems pretty good actually? RB’s being raved on and that’s the lone group we’ve not heard much about yet
(IMO): As I expected from the beginning of this QB race, it’s seeming more likely it will be JA starting, Gmac (the truth) backing up, Merk 3rd
I like the idea of adjunct professor - or maybe working at a museum or library so I don’t have to deal with people.Coaching maybe. Bartending at a country club. Maybe adjunct professor. It's so far off I haven't put that much thought into it haha
I used to want to grow up and be the Walmart greeter and just smile and hand out a buggie but now they have to get confrontational and check receipts so I’m looking for new retirement opportunities.I like the idea of adjunct professor - or maybe working at a museum or library so I don’t have to deal with people.
And then I’ll volunteer as an asst coach for my grandkids’ sports teams.
That would be the life!
Why even play then? Just call it. LolOU has upgraded substantially at QB and will easily have better weapons on offense.
We haven't come close to beating UGA.
We haven't won at Florida and Alabama since 2003. Its a harder schedule.
3 whole games that have been automatic losses and we have to deal with better QB play from most everyone we play.
I think Aguilar is likely to make some mistakes, but while Nico’s INT total is low, he fumbled the ball nine times last year. He didn’t lose half of those, but he was pretty darn dangerous with the ball. That's my optimistic hope. He's definitely going to turn the ball over more but hopefully give our guys a chance to go make plays. We have a solid stable of RBs but no Dylan Sampson. I hope someone can be a deep threat like Thornton, but I've yet to see it.
People forget we are almost automatic at home under Heupel. As long as they are not UGA. It’s crazy hard to beat Heupel at home. And I doubt we go 0-3 against the big three. Those are the games we want most and circle every season. Bunch of BetasVol nation
Where every opponent is a world beater without playing a snap bc the media told you so.
The home team is automatically ass.
People have gone soft. I wouldn’t be worried about her husband. Doubt he is anything to be scared of if that is who he married lolMy neighbor's 13 year old boy asked me if I have any work for him to make a dollar. Lots to be excited about.Cliff notes?
There is nothing wrong with trying to lower cholesterol into a more normal range, provided you don't take it too low or do more damage than you correct by doing so. Cholesterol is 'U' shaped. Too low is just as bad as too high, although low hurts different things. The people pushing statins act like lower is always better....false. Lower to a point, sure. Some statins do lower inflammation though, which might be their real benefit. But fixing heart issues only to cause brain issues isn't very helpful. Thanks! Never really heard of it but will look into it.
I failed to mention that my previous doctor (and continued by current NP) prescribed me a cholesterol medication, but it isn't a statin. I was told it was not a long term solution but was fine for my age. I've never really had any side affects that I know of.
