Tennessee's assistant coaches were busy once again on Thursday and the Vols blanketed the state of Virginia and the Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia metro area (DMV).
Zach Azzanni, Steve Stripling and Tommy Thigpen were in the area as the crew saw a number of underclassmen around the state as the Vols look to make Virginia more of a priority in the future.
Azzanni was in the Tidewater area and stopped in Ocean Lakes High School to see one of the top targets for the class of 2015, Jaason Lewis. Another Tennessee target at the school in the class of 2015 is linebacker Jahvoni Simmons.
Steve Stripling was in the Richmond, Va., area and the Vols offered 2015 Richmond defensive lineman Clelin Ferrell. Top prospects Ricky DeBerry and Garrett Taylor are also in the Richmond area and it's not farfetched to think Stripling stopped by their school as well as they both go to St. Christopher's.
