Call me crazy but one of my biggest hopes out of this recruiting class is that we actually a develop a legit weapon at tight end.. we haven't had one in so long.
I did not realize that cincy was 9-2.
They played an extremely weak schedule, and their 2 losses before last night were to a 4-8 Illinois team and a 2-9 South Florida team.
I started following them when I saw they were winning, for fear I'd have to start filtering through posts on VolNation about how Tubberville was doing better at Cincy than Butch did.
Thankfully, I determined their results aren't all that impressive upon closer review.
I'm often happy to have a different view than the majority. Dobbs did fine and can do better. He was also not healthy and his plant leg had been bothering him. They just didn't talk about it. Kid was getting treatment nonstop, had no TE, Tiny letting DE's go to block down on a guard on passing plays, and absolutely zero outside threat. Croom isn't an outside receiver and should be eating the middle of the field up looking like Vernon Davis.

I think most logical fans would realize that Cincy success is a good thing. It means butch can build a program with long term success not just a lucky season here or there. Tubby is a dang good coach so it should be easy for him to pick up where Butch left off.
