Meh, given the odds of turnover and odds of failure at Miami...I think he'd be highly incentivized to stay here. If Miami fails it'll be because of their offense. Then his career is dead.
If the Heupel staff doesn't work out, it wouldn't hurt his resume. It won't be because of the offense. This is a guaranteed resume builder/steady job. If anything, he could swing it into a lower level HC job, if he has such aspirations.
that is exactly what they are afraid of and exactly why they are throwing around big money to try to land the best class ever. they have to distance themselves from Texas before Texas joins the SEC. if Texas becomes the Texas program of the SEC then it's back to what A&M has been the whole time. the whole reason that they came here was to get out from under Texas, and they could never get their foothold. suddenly the Texas news drops and they're raking in big time recruits and spending like crazy. Will be interesting if Texas ever improves and has stability, A&M could possibly be little brother again.

He didn't know who he was sending the text to. Both men were named Brian and he thought he was texting Brian Dabol and he was really testing Brian Flores. He thought he was congratulating Dabol because of the news he heard. Flores asked him if he knew who he was talking to and when he found out his mistake, he said something like "my bad"
