Recruiting Forum Football Talk IV

I haven’t looked in day or so but last I saw Florida wasn’t optimistic about Tosh as Oregon and Lanning had swooped in and he likely goes there. Also some talk he may still not be allowed in SEC.
You may be correct. Don’t believe Tosh wants to play 2nd fiddle to a younger D coordinator at FU. Prolly wants a coordinator job but then he could follow the $ if that opportunity is not there so you never know…

If i was Josh Heupel i would hire him as the assistant head coach/recruiting coordinator..i believe it would be a home run hire to!

We don’t need someone that erratic and lacking in integrity anywhere near this program. Heupel and Golesh have the offense figured out on their own.

Was this suppose to be in blue, or a joke?
First of all Meyer’s ego is too huge to be labeled an assistant to anything.
Secondly, I would not want him anywhere around our players.
Third, Heupel is too smart to even consider it.

On a serious note, I’m definitely no engineer but I’ve always wondered why cargo ships couldn’t be a mix of solar and water/turbine powered.

There is not enough surface area for the amount of solar that would required to power the ship, let alone, charge batteries

Batteries would create significant weight additions

Water / turbine power …. You need a source to propel you through the water in order to turn the water turbine, create a net negative

Like the sailors of yore, kites are the most logical addition. That’s a relative term. With the price of diesel, im sure if it would’ve saved money it would have been done by now.

Capitalism really is an incredible system of incentives.

Thank you! I feel like I learned something in here today!

We theoretically have 9+ spots left with a possibility of 11+ (depends on back counting from last year idk the answer the 9-11 is on the low side). Using 1 for a WR ain't the end of the world. Leaves plenty for DBs, LBs and OL.

They won't use that many. Will leave some buffer if the NCAA or SEC decide to limit scholarships. I'd say they may go into Fall camp with probably somewhere between 75-80 players on scholarships. But I also think a few PWOs will be on the roster so when the dust settles on final ruling for punishments we'll see some of them given those extra scholarships.
