I wondered too. The broadcast leaves A LOT to be desired when they're watching tv like us & Bob has a hard time adapting. He still tries to call it like a normal game, filling all air space but clearly can't see anymore than we can see. I assume he doesn't have a spotter, called wrong person in a play or injured numerous times.

I’m guessing you are going to see this in early season games of little importance. The pandemic showed ESPN that it can be done, and it saves money when the announcers are at home.

I assume your Bob reference is about Kesling? He and Bert were in the arena. They still do the radio from courtside.

Maybe lol I just miss different styles….. the bad boy pistons…. Showtime Lakers…. On and on….. there were several different styles to try and win a championship….Now shooting a 3 is like shooting free throws to some of these guys…. It’s too easy of a shot.

I honestly wouldn’t mind if a couple of our games were on a Nickelodeon broadcast. Can’t be any worse than the broadcasts we’ve been dealing with lately and it might gain us some young fans.

I’m glad we are starting to play that style but I wish they didn’t have a 3 point shot.

Without a 3pt line the game of basketball would be brutal to watch. As the level of size and athleticism has increased if defense was not forced to extend and guard out to 25ft then offense would be ugly.

I want him back also, but it is a win-win, I think. If Hooker gets drafted relatively high this year, then that is great evidence that Heupel can develop QB, to those who may have had questions . Great for recruiting and great for Hendon. Still hope he does come back next year.

Hooker will not be drafted high so he needs to come back. A Taylor is the only Round 5 or earlier draft prospect we have currently. Combine could change things however for other guys ( V Jones/ maybe Mays).
