Hope everyone has had a good week! I’ve had a blast… Went to Disney to only find out the day we arrived that my wife has Covid. The g-parents took our oldest so we let her stay with them at the resort and we got a hotel off property. Decided to stay to see if symptoms went away and we didn’t catch it. Tested my littlest one and myself after losing my smell and came back positive. So we headed home. So Covid ruined my second child’s birth with a false positive and kept us on quarantine and now ruined a Disney trip we planned for a year. I am perfectly fine with a little fatigue and congestion and my one year old had a fever and has been perfect since. To say I am over Covid would be an understatement. And yes we are all vaccinated and we only eat outside at restaurants and wear masks everywhere. So I’m jumping on the wagon that everyone is going to eventually get this thing and live your damn life.

You're doing things the right way, just crap luck. Hope you and your family are well. We do need to live our lives, especially after getting vaccinated.

There's a game for camping?

Uh, why not just go...camping? My mind is too simple for this complex world.

No. Its a cowboy western video game set in the late 1800's in the western and southern frontiers. There is camping, but its a survivalist action game full of beautiful environments. Its immersive enough that playing the game for a couple hours can feel like you've been there, same with any other media. But the goal is not camping.

I used to camp all the time with my dad. But we live in Louisiana, and camping is less than ideal here most times of the year, and driving the 3 to 6 hours to decent spots isn't really practical most weekends, especially while my wife was pregnant. So a couple hours on a video game in my living room had to suffice. Hope this clears that up.

I don't trust the OL enough to think we score enough to cover. I worry that we won't get a push in run game and will have some quick 3 and outs and wear our defense out early on. If we had a better OL then I think we'd have a chance to win.
That's kinda where I am. Getting Cooper and some other guys back will def help. I think our defense is good enough for us to win but we def need help from the OL.

Well, it is the second week in a row that we do not know who is starting at QB LOL.

I think it's going to be Hooker.

Even if Milton starts, his playing style is a recipe for disaster for reinjuring or worsening his current condition.

Hooker will see one or both halves.

Hmmm. You think Mixon can run on that Pitt D?
He’s like second in league in rushing yards is he not? Problem with Davis is Atlanta usually gonna be playing from behind so matty ice gonna throw the ball 40+ times

Yep Davis isn’t even in top 25 and mixon is 2nd

Question - Did anyone here try Cyberpunk? I almost bought it but was concerned that CDProjekt Red was going so far away from what they knew that I decided not to pre-purchase or purchase at launch. They'd only ever done the Witcher and tbh, the Wild Hunt is the culmination of all that. By that I mean, it took them three times to create something great. Without the experience of making previous two games, I don't think they get their storytelling or mechanics right the way they did in The Wild Hunt.

I know they put out a broken game, especially for consoles but I wonder if the game is fixable or not. A lot big games like that have been disasters at launch and eventually recovered but I don't know if Cyberpunk is deep enough story wise to be one of those.

I played and loved the game. It was certainly busted at launch on ps4 and Xbox One. But on PS5 it played great. Enjoyed the game immensely. Not as good as Witcher 3 but still really really good.

So my wife and I were in the right place right time today and confronted a child predator.

We are vacationing in Florida this week. We were letting the kids play around the green space in Seaside when this younger man came and started talking to my boys. Harmless looking. After we saw my son start to chase this young man like tag, alarm bells went off and mama bear swooped into action, she ran down there and asked what the guy was doing. He said laughingly he had missed his workout today and asked the kids if they wanted to make a $100 and chase him around like tag. Mama was having none of that and ran the guy off.

I finally come out of the coffee shop and get brought up to speed on the situation and said no no we need to find this guy. So I walk around for awhile until he finally comes out of this ice cream shop. In my best manners I asked him what TF is his situation. A flustered response from this cat and I quickly realize this guy isn’t right, but he’s smart, he’s preying. He hides in plain sight, finds a group of kids, targets the outlier child that is a little insecure of himself, and tempts him away from the pack. We tell him what he’s doing is a probably a crime, and certainly was out of line and starting something he didn’t want rectified by these parents, and he reiterated he was committing no crime, alarm bell #2 (he knows to keep the situation at arms length). I tell him to piss off. Wife photographs him.

Walking away I find my wife alerting some restaurant owners and they get security involved. While we wait for police to arrive I decide to go do a little detective work and go into the ice cream shop. I ask the employees if they’ve seen anything strange out of that guy. They quickly said “oh yea” he was there last night talking to 10 teenage or younger boys sharing high-school Harry stories and trying to buy them ice cream. After one boy got uncomfortable he called security and they ran this guy off.

I walk out of the store and another man said “hey I saw you talking to that guy, he said something inappropriate to my daughter and I about whipped his arse right on the spot.”

Well the sheriffs department is on this one now and I expect this gets resolved, turns out he is a Hurricane ida evacuee from last month.

TLDR; parents please watch your kids. Some sick freaks out there.
People like him are mentally ill. Having said that, when caught, people like that need to be castrated, sodomized and killed. They are life destroyers in the worst possible way.

Heupel said nothing on this Thursday press conference.

He still has that stupid cough - not sure why, but it really is starting to irritate me. LOL

That freaked me out too! When players were running right through me I was reacting like they were NPCs. Now I'm running through people without thinking about it. When I play offline games, I really need a story to get immersed in. Combat alone isn't always interesting enough because MMOs can do that well and it can be hilarious or challenging as hell to take on a combat challenge with other people.

Destiny looks like a great game. I've definitely been tempted by it. Would you recommend it?
COD Mobile is incredible for a phone game. I was really surprised with it's quality and the fact you can play the complete game for free, literally 0 $'s and no ads or other nonsense. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes online gaming and a big community of online players.
