@InVOLuntary brother did you get to watch the base Vols tonight? @Weezer make you mad or what?
Yep, they just need pitching depth. Good ball clubAnyone who thinks Campbell is mediocre is a fool. 44-17 (I think) on the season; have 8 or so All Conference players (hell, that's more than we could manage!); Top 10 in HRs this year; lineup with a couple or so draft picks; scrappy as hell...and, they took it to Georgia Tech yesterday...also, it wasn't just Dollander they smacked around tonight.
The ONLY reason I would want to face them again tomorrow, their arms would have to be DONE, one would think. Other than that, I don't want to see them again. Scrappy bunch, who gave us ALL they had tonight. Tip of cap to them.
Exactly capping NIL is unconstitutional in a free market, not sure why that word continue’s to be used it’s like people want socialist values
This. The way I understand the Supreme Court decision, university involvement in NIL and transfer portal are really the only things the NCAA, SEC, etc could regulate.
Yep credit where it's due to both teams showed up tonight, they never quit but we never quit as well.I honestly think that 3rd inning they popped off 4 and had bases loaded was the turning point.Kirby deserves so much credit for tonight he pitched his ass off had they scored 1or2 more made it 6-0 who knows how that works out.Campbell left loaded bases out there couple times.Another big inning in the 7th j think bases loaded n pitching pulled it off again.Just a great great round team performance but Kirby is the manYep, they just need pitching depth. Good ball club
They'd have to beat us twice . I don't think either team has the arms to do that.winning tonight was huge.Anyone who thinks Campbell is mediocre is a fool.

My daughter’s BerneDoodle - still less than a year old but won’t get a lot more than the ~25lbs he is nowHandsome dude. Millie is a Mini Golden Doodle. She’s about 16 months old and 25 LBs, and that’s the weight she’ll be from now on. She also loves any food that’s out, but given her size, she can only reach so far, and the kids have learned to push their plates to the center of the table if they get up from their seats.
She’s a great dog. Have had a lot of dogs, and I’ve always preferred big dogs. Among the crew I’ve had over the years, I’ve had two St Bernards and one Bernese Mtn Dog, and one of the Saints and the Berner have always been my favorite dogs. The Saint was 175lbs and was such a gentle giant. The berner was my first big dog and was my best pal through some rough patches.
But this little girl is quickly climbing the ranks. She’s a great dog. Incredibly smart and great with the kids.
It’s not a question that they would be in violation of antitrust laws if they put out restrictions on NIL, they 100% would be in violation of antitrust laws and would lose in court…they have absolutely no power now and they know it.The NCAA placing a restriction on NIL is not unconstitutional, because nothing the NCAA does is "unconstitutional." The NCAA is not a state actor - a fact that was confirmed in NCAA vs Tarkanian 488 U.S. 179. What you mean to say is that you believe NCAA recruiting rules would violate antitrust law.
As it stands today, a cap on NIL benefits would NOT violate those laws. The media has done a terrible job explaining what happened in NCAA v. Alston. That case had a narrow ruling that held it was an antitrust violation for the NCAA to cap non-cash educational benefits above and beyond the "cost of attendance." Only that, nothing else. No other NCAA rule was subject to that holding. Everyone in the media likes to point to one single phrase in the Kavanaugh concurrence that was mere dictum to claim that Alston had a much broader holding than it did.
The NCAA has thrown its hands up on the issue of NIL so far, but if they wanted, they could certainly enact those restrictions tomorrow. Would they be challenged in court? Sure. But it would undergo the same rule of reason analysis as every other NCAA restriction facing an antitrust claim. Would it win? Not sure - one could wonder why the Supreme Court issued a narrow ruling when they could have broadly struck down all recruiting/payment rules. For all we know, Kavanaugh is the only Justice who thinks that way.
