Ladies and gents....I was just glancing at next years schedule and I could definitely see 9-3. Am I being a little too crazy? Or do yall think that is realistic?

Maybe not quit football, but it would be best if they'd move to an FCS or G5 conference. It's not fair to sacrifice those players against SEC football opponents eight times a year. Barring a sizeable investment of their league football revenue into upgrading the program, they need to move down, IMO.

My VA Tech buddy said they are hearing Marcus Freeman as HC. But, rumors that the Chicago Bears will try to hire Day from OSU. OSU would hire Fickell and Cincinnati would hire Freeman.

Now that's a rumor I like to see. Makes sense on all counts.

Hope OU does get Venables. Venables is just as important to Clemson as Dabo is and that is not a Kirby Smart/Jeremy Pruitt leaving Alabama-type of hole that they can pretty easily fill. That will be a huge, huge loss for Clemson.

dabo without venables will not end well.

Dabo's future at Clemson might very well depend on who he hires to replace Venables. He made a dynamite hire when he hired Venables to begin with...he'd probably have to make a hire like that again.

Clemson is probably 6-6, maybe even 5-7 without Venables this year, because Dabo's offense and QB play was complete poo poo.
