Also, I'm looking forward to national media that have it out for us releasing pieces with anonymous quotes from current coaches, without knowing the context or if it's even from a coach that would be interested in us or have us interested in them.

"I wouldn't go there for any amount of money. It's a mess."

"They stab their own coaches in the back, good luck there."

"No one will go there with the NCAA holding the hammer over the program"

Texas fires Herman and immediately names replacement.

Tennessee fires Pruitt. AD retires. Hires search firm for AD first. Will take several weeks to hire the guy who will hire a coach. That will take several more weeks.

I’m going to need a refill for my acid reflux medication

bama doesn’t have a group of boosters Pointing out where the bodies are buried to get their AD removed when They don’t approve of his decisions
Dude. I'm a nobody but I read a lot of this forum. Are you ever positive about anything? Sounds to me like things needed changing. Lots of ugliness within the program that's coming to light. Bending the rules is one thing but being stupid about bending the rules is something different. It takes a village and it sounds like to me Pruitt was alienating the very people he depended on to have a successful program.

Freak is stalling this thing as long as possible. His tri annual windfall is due. Jmo

I know search firms get a bad rep, but they’re a necessary evil. They do busy work that our admin doesn’t have time to do. Plowman and Boyd have a university and a system to run, they can’t be calling prospective coaches all day. Plus this lets coaches with current schools have plausible deniability. They can always say they didn’t talk to Tennessee about the opening because they technically talked to a 3rd party.

Also if anyone knows how I can get a gig with an executive search firm, I am interested.

Yep. I am with you
it’s a risk he just goes back to the nfl but worth it
I think so consider the mess he took over at Penn State...way worse than what he’d get here 4 year postseason bowl ban and docked 40 scholarships there. He has a track record. The Texans thing...don’t know how much you can penalize him for that IMO...
