Funny how a lot of volunteer fans this time last year were saying he should be named coach of the year and after a rough year impacted by corona, he’s now doo doo. We’ll get back on track this year. When we do, a lot of folks will owe ol stud an apology.

@Atlanta VOL did say he can’t say much right now but like the past month they’ve been in contact with coaches. Let’s hope they’re some good ones!

Im curious, (don’t come at me) why is it an anonymous person on a message board “can’t say much” but local and national media, local radio hosts and local reporters can provide nuggets (info) on what they are hearing, short lists and other info without revealing their sources or burning bridges?

Hire the Iowa St AD for mega bucks, then give freaking Matt Campbell a Jimbo Fisher deal. I don't even care if he doesn't win a natty, hell even if he doesn't win the SEC. He will get us to 10 wins routinely and off the damn mat. Hopefully by the time Saban retires we can reeval where we are.

Great question. I think what the NCAA penalties look like will affect the interest level in he job.

I think Kiffin is a great playcaller and motivator. Not sure how great a program manager he is at this point. But he's fun.

Hugh Freeze is a very good coach who shouldn't pay a penalty for the rest of his life, but Tennessee isn't going to hire him.

Doug Marrone is a better coach than people give him credit for being. He's thought to be a Fulmer guy so I don't see that one happening.

I like Chadwell, not sure he's ready. Can you take that chance?

Russ was just telling a story about Lane Kiffin being in front of the NCAA for when he was at TN.

He said Lane showed up late, and as the first speaker steps up Lane steps up to the mic, and asks if he can get breakfast because he hadn't eaten yet that morning. It took him like 10 minutes, then he sits down and goes, ok im ready now. LMAO give me that energy
