I would include AV and Vawls99 or whatever his name is in the stock up categories too. Definitely proved themselves to any doubters today.

Clearly Im not one of those people who has FU money. Glad we have some who do and are willing to spend it to put a good product on the field. When we return to greatness I will be attending championships for sure.

In one month he’s learned from all his mistakes? Herman had every resource you could want at his disposal and blew it. Gonna take some time for him to learn how he effed that up. You don’t get fired from Texas and land on your feet right away

Unfortunately you are correct. Also time it where you remove the interim title when the fans can’t protest or paint the rock.

Well the smart move has already been made and gives us options. They named an Interim and that gives us time to get an AD and that person to talk to candidates agents. If we can’t get interest in any decent options then the smart move is to let things play out with Steele and use the whole year to do things behind the scenes and avoid our typical media embarrassment from constant rejections.

Push comes to shove if much rather ride out a year with Steele than rush another hire. We all seen how that went when they panicked and hired Dooley instead of going with the interim for a year. I’d much rather lose one season than rush and be stuck with an underqualified coach for another 3 years again.

Especially if we get additional punishment. They should have let Chaney run interim After kiffin left instead of panic hiring Dooley. That set us on this hampster wheel of coaching failure.
Edit: only if we can’t get a big time hire now
