O'Brien is much the better of the two. I will say I may have been wrong, I actually thought some more about it, and considering the job he had to do at PSU he might could work out here.I like O’Brien and Marrone because they had been HC’s in college football as well.
Could happen to a finer fella. Hope he goes through about dozen more before their season starts.
my only thing with O’Brien is the players in Houston hated that man... that’s my only red flagO'Brien is much the better of the two. I will say I may have been wrong, I actually thought some more about it, and considering the job he had to do at PSU he might could work out here.
Still totally and emphatically out on Marrone.
I can say that Derrick Henry deserves credit for basically all of the Titans yards, not just his rushing yards. Tannehill owes Henry 80% of his new contract as far as I'm concerned. The passing games works almost entirely through play action for them and that is all Henry.Has nothing to do with most improved or best stat wise. Both Henry and Allen are important to their individual team's successes. I quoted stats vs. stats.
I just believe Allen was more important to his team's success than Henry. Therefore more valuable. And I know there is a QB up in the Pacific NW that should be in consideration as well. Also, LAC has a rookie QB that, should he have started from day 1 might have been in the conversation. Plus, there is a receiver in GB that could lay claim. Still, I think Allen is deserving. I will have no qualms should Henry win the award.
We all have our opinions. Heck, look at this board.
Freeze...Fickell...Gus...Herman...Campbell...Napier...Chadwell...etc. Everyone has a different opinion. Some even believe Pruitt.
SMH..so only losses count, the wins don't matter...gotcha..Context is the teams we played were of a much lower caliber to finish the year. Beating the teams that we should always beat shouldn’t be celebrated.
Kentucky, Missouri and Indiana were all within 4 points of losing. And bowl wins are great and all, but being competitive in the SEC and against our biggest rivals matters more.
He had spring and summer of 19 and failed, every team in America had to deal with the exact same circumstances. It is not an excuse, period. No one expected him to beat Florida, Georgia or Bama this year, that's crazy but I do expect not to get blown out by a sh!tty Arkansas or UK teamWould no spring, summer, or fall practice hinder development of a primarily young football team? Yes or no.
Wow....sounds like you've been studying Eskimo scrotums.I can say that Derrick Henry deserves credit for basically all of the Titans yards, not just his rushing yards. If the running game isn't working, Tannehill shrinks like an Eskimo's scrotum.
With that said, MVP is a QB award, so a QB is going to win. That QB is most likely Aaron Rodgers.
And Gus. You mention Gus as a candidate? How dare you tbh.
Just trying to be funny...I used to love reading Od postsI’m lost. Was @Atlanta VOL trying to speak in code or just being funny![]()

The team got worse as the year went on. If lack of practice was the reason for the struggles they would have improved instead of looking decent the first two games and going backwards. Teams went through the same stuff. Not a valid excuseWould no spring, summer, or fall practice hinder development of a primarily young football team? Yes or no.
