Anyway, I’m done with this fight.
Pruitt has not done a good job so far and you all know it. No amount of excuses will change it.
We have the talent to - at minimum - win 3 of our remaining games. If we do not, he SHOULD be fired and I believe he will be.
Anything less than a bowl game this year (which ain’t gonna happen) will result in a lame duck season next year and we’ll have effectively pushed off the coaching search for 12 months.
You all can pretend we’re a QB away or heading in the right direction all you want but things will have to totally flip for Pruitt to keep his job. It doesn’t matter what we’re “rooting for” or hoping to happen. This ain’t like tinkerbell where we’re only successful if we believe really hard.
Blah blah blah, I’ve fought this fight for nothing. I’m moving on.
Later, rednecks.
Lou Holtz was 0-11 in his first year at USCe. He had USCe winning about 8 games a year by the time Spurrier came in. Sometimes, it takes a few years to upgrade the S&C program, change the culture, and replace the players that are accustomed to losing.Yea i mean bottom line Pruitt has to earn that opportunity tho. You can’t win 1 or 2 games in a season at Tennessee. I really don’t care the circumstances. If you can’t win 1 game against a P5 opponent, you have no business being out head coach.
It’s the same argument i had against hue jackson for the browns. After he went 0-16 you should be fired immediately no questions asked.
It's all John Currie's fault. If you're going to make the call to fire Butch in November, then you better have the next HC candidate ready to hire basically ready to go.
Still baffled by the cluster**** that coaching search turned into, really floors me.
I mean they’ve beaten the brakes off us,doesn’t mean it’s loaded it just means it’s better than ours. We need stability in both the weight room and coaching staff. These kids need to get big, fast, and have the same system so they can quit thinking and hit someone.Yea that vandy roster. Whew loaded.
eh, wasn't talking about you specifically. sorry for the intimation that i was....but i did see that a lot.....elsewhere.So my opinion last year was that I -did- care about year one results for a brand new HC...cause funny thing, you know.
I never said that. So my narrative* or opinion hasn't changed, and I have no control over anyone else's.
