That looks awesome!

Right. Too bad licensing fees are a bitch or I could help him make a fortune on these....Peyton Manning images, Smokey, any UT logo can be used....any background you can think of.

Even cutout wood signs with orange LED backlighting behind whatever logo you want. Amazing stuff.

That’s his first attempt? That’s sharp, buddy.

Velus Jones preseason all-sec hmmmm

Palmer
Johnson
Jones
Senior led Wr. Group again?

I’m fine but I’d rather have Keyton then Johnson starting if this happens

Just to clarify, Jones in pre-season all-sec (according to Athlon) as their 3rd team kickoff return man. VJ let USC in kickoff returns each year over the past 3 years. He never had a lot of production for USC as a receiver. He had some, just not that much. He was their KO return specialist primarily.

I could use a few of those types of items :)

Crazy to look back 2-3 years ago and see how bad we were on the OL

OL has been a roller coaster here for a decade.

2010: Nonexistent
2011: Rounding into form
2012: Elite
2013: Elite but didn't completely fit the scheme
2014: Nonexistent again
2015: Average to bad but started improving with Jones and Hall
2016: Improving a bit but lack of strength and conditioning hurt what should have been an elite unit
2017: Nonexistent yet again
2018: Improving again
2019: Improvement stalled a bit
2020: Should be elite?

My biggest wish list under Pruitt, other than him sticking around for a while, is to just develop consistent OL and DL. When you've got that you can go 9-3 pretty much as a floor.

I think you have 2018/2019 mixed up.

It's part of what he does for work using our equipment. He made me this on the DL because he had time and was board but first time with sports logo.

He is a master with wood (TWSS) and backlighting. Showed me a smaller piece he did on tile and it pops even better. He can do sports teams, a portrait of a family member....pretty much anything and it will look like the original image....beauty of dye sub printing and it will never come off.

The wood stuff is a little different but super cool when parts are cut out with the laser and backlit.

I don't want to be argumentative - scratch that - I'd argue that if the 2011 OL was rounding into form then then the 2019 OL was way ahead of the development schedule. With Hunter out and then Dr. Bray correctly diagnosing his broken thumb, our 2011 offense hit a brick wall. At one point in the game I honestly thought Worley and Da'Rick were going to lose to MTSU. We had the absolute worst rushing offense in the conference in 2011, mustering only 2.76 yards per carry, #117 in the nation. Last year we jumped from #114 in 2018 to #85 for 2019. Granted, #85 ain't something you normally wanna write home about but that's almost 30 rungs up the ladder going in the right direction. I think we'll be at least top 40 in rushing this year, maybe higher. I don't think our OL development stalled last year; I think we had liftoff, especially with adding the 2 freshmen and Calbert, and this year we going to throttle up. jmo.

For your summary statement, complete agreement, and I think that's the strategy they're trying to pull off. jmo.
