Man OKC is clearly the better team tonight so far, but holy smoke these refs are so blatantly giving them the home whistle. Super egregious fouls ignored on one end, then literally no contact on the other end being called. This is why I hardly ever watch basketball. Refs ruin so many games.

There was a batter that got hit in the elbow and was given first base by the home plate ump. Arky challenges, and it was admittedly a very close call as to whether the batter moved his elbow into the ball. But it was miles away from “indisputable.”

The call got overturned anyway.

This is AI so it may be wrong. Couldn’t find a way to search downloaded NCAA rules on my phone. But it looks like the “no hitter” was a gift of incorrect officiating (deliberate or incompetent) and so unearned. Difficult to imagine the review booth doesn’t know the rule that to overturn a call requires indisputable evidence. Which suggests…

I think they said there has never been a perfect game in the cws. This was the 3rd no hitter.

He hit a batter. There was no dispute.

The dispute was on the second hit by pitch. And the overturn that it was purposeful, was absolute bollsheet and of no consequence to his perfect game/no hitter. Had it been the only hit by pitch, the overturn would have been understandable to maintain the first perfect game.

So you’re saying the AI is wrong. That doesn’t surprise me.

Where is the NCAA rule about no hitters and perfect games? I couldn’t find it. That sounds like the distinction that was in play. So, thanks!

You don’t think 54 appearances (33 in ‘25) over the last 2 seasons is time enough to shine? He pitched in 39% of games in that timespan.

Now if he wants to be a starter, I get that.

Also thought he shined plenty. Was a good arm out of the pen.

Are we counting half innings and 1 batter..or? non the less midweek games was his calling..never really got a fair shake for prime time.

How is LB going to get better next season other than just another year under their belts? Once Pili was out, we struggled to contain and no LB was generally successful at pass coverage on the TE... many times our LB's looked lost and a decisive step behind the speed of the game.

No, “the guy” didn’t achieve team accomplishments.

This all exposes the fallacy of giving the QB credit for “winning” anything. It’s a team game.

That team won in spite of him at times. He sure as hell didn’t win that Arkansas game. They overcame him in that game. And in the Florida game.

I’ve always thought it’s ridiculous how we give QBs the credit/blame for wins and losses. As if Manning was to blame for Florida averaging 42 ppg against Tennessee’s defense from 1995-97, but Tee somehow deserves credit for the defense holding Florida to 17 points in 1998.
