Recruiting Football Talk VIII

If anyone is in need of a good laugh, the FF has a thread about Heupel being on the hot seat and it’s quite comical. Must be a slow news day!
Prolly a fan of another program trolling Freak’s board. Happens on the regular.

Put on ignore everyone in thread who doesn’t straight up tell OP to F off in a very few words. Anyone who falls for the troll and thus argues with him needs ignoring, too. Because that’s encouragement. Then ignore the OP.

Edit: the idiot troll must already be in my ignore box. I just checked and there’s no such article.

To me everything but RB and possibly Dline is a wash from last year. The only real difference is home/away games
I think you can argue we will almost definitely be better at LB and TE. Better at corner if McCoy comes back healthy but that isn’t a given. Possibly better on OL but that’s hope and potential.

Imo:
QB - wash
OL - wash
TE - better
WR - wash
RB - likely not as good

DT - wash
DE - possibly not as good
LB - better
S - wash
CB - wash (unless McCoy is healthy)

How is LB going to get better next season other than just another year under their belts? Once Pili was out, we struggled to contain and no LB was generally successful at pass coverage on the TE... many times our LB's looked lost and a decisive step behind the speed of the game.

The “no hitter” needs an asterisk? Idk what this convo is about.
No asterisk. It (likely) didn’t affect the no-hitter.

There was a batter that got hit in the elbow and was given first base by the home plate ump. Arky challenges, and it was admittedly a very close call as to whether the batter moved his elbow into the ball. But it was miles away from “indisputable.”

The call got overturned anyway.

They’re very high on Spillman. Guess we’ll see
