Jeremiah Smith is probably the best wide receiver prospect since Julio Jones. This is absolutely the worst take I’ve read on here in a long time. He would’ve been a top 5 pick in this years draft.

Totally disagree. But I understand I'm in the minority here. Jeremiah Smith is more Dez Bryant than Julio Jones. He'll be a solid possession receiver at the next level that might make a Pro Bowl or two. What he won't be is an All-Pro like Julio Jones. He doesn't have the speed guys like Julio have to be dominant all-time greats.

Ryan Williams on the other hand has generational speed and elusiveness. He reminded me last year of a shorter version of Randy Moss. I'll take him over Jeremiah Smith any day of the week as a NFL prospect.

Smith is a better game breaker than Williams too

Dez Bryant also looked like a game breaker in college. Smith is a 4.5 guy at best. Williams is 4.3 at least. They're on different levels in terms of speed. In college where DBs are slower a 4.5 guy can be a game breaker but that gets put to rest pretty quickly in the NFL.

I highly doubt Williams is a 4.3 guy… lol

The offensive line crisis in college football: What's behind the decline?

Even elite programs are struggling to find and stack depth up front

Because they spend more time looking at them without pads than what they look like during play? Or because bthey want them as big as possible without worrying if they can actually move in that weight?

Dez Bryant was a game breaker in the NFL. He was just a moron. His 3 year peak was elite. Williams isn't in the same league as Smith. That dude is different.

Ryan Williams was a track star in high school. AHSAA News | Mr. Football Ryan Williams Records AHSAA’s Fastest 100-meter Time of Outdoor Track Season

The only high school track event both Williams and Smith competed in was the 200 meter dash.

Smith's best time was 22.08: Jeremiah Smith - Stats

While Williams best time was 21.28: Ryan A Williams - Stats

A difference of almost 1 second which in track and field is an eternity. Williams is much faster than Smith. If Williams ain't 4.3 then Smith must be in the 4.6 range. Cause the difference between the two is at least 0.2 in the 40 yard dash.

Not in comparison to the Julio Jones of the world who Jeremiah Smith is being compared to. People aren't just saying Smith will be a good receiver in the NFL. They're saying he could be generational. Which is what I'm pushing back against. I think he'll be Dez Bryant good which as you pointed out is pretty impressive. But nobody is saying Dez Bryant should be a first ballot Hall of Famer. The guys who Jeremiah Smith gets compared to are first ballot Hall of Famers.

That's fair. I respect your bold opinions. I will say I think both could easily separate themselves because they still have a TON of development left. Smith might run a 4.6 but damn it doesn't look like it on the field.

@ugg you like the why files, don't you?
You might like this new Joe Rogan interview.

I had that pulled up today at work . My play was to let it play in the background and listen while I worked but I got too busy. Definitely plan to hear the whole three hours. AJ is an interesting guy and a great story teller.

I did the same, but made it about an hour into it. Pretty good episode.

That's a better time slot for us than a night game. When's the last time we won a big night game at home? However our last 2 wins over Alabama were at 3:30.

I personally love the 3:30 time slot. We tend to play better at that time than at night.
We are louder with a 7pm tip

Haven't been given a chance to play a great team at night in a while!
