Good job RB. Does he not have a thread yet?

Would be curious as to your thoughts on him 24 hours ago when he was a zero star with offers from Canisius, Hofstra, and the like.

We have opposing views from the norm in this case. His film and offer list don't impress me. Hopefully he has improved on that film and becomes an Ian Steere type player.

Who's the nega now?!

Jerry Meyer who has actually been critical of Barnes recently is supporting this get which makes me optimistic...said he made some phone calls after the commitment which caused the 4* ranking. Says it's a great "beat the competition" move getting a commitment this early, thinks the upside is very high.

This staff has earned my trust on evaluations, and the film on this kid is limited. Coaches have seen him in person, I haven't. So, I'm inclined to defer to their judgement.

I wasn't a huge fan of it as first ether, but seeing Jerry Meyer give him that ranking after making multiple calls to multiple people who have seen him play many times it gives some optimism. Jerry has been very critical of Barnes at Tennessee but really liked this pickup, so that definitely caused me to rethink things a bit.

Davonte Gaines Blows Up In Pittsburgh
Super talented Buffalo wing Davonte Gaines had his coming-out party while playing with his hometown Corey Graham Elite (NY) team this past weekend. The long 6'6" lefty is a wiry wing who loves to attack the rim and stays active at all times on both ends of the floor. Also playing for New Heights (NY) on the Under Armour Association circuit, it's with his hometown team that he really gets to show off his dynamic skillset. Already holding offers from Buffalo, Canisius & Niagara, we expect his recruitment to take a high-major turn sooner than later.

I wished this guy if he sticks to his commitment could come in and be a J.P. Prince type player.

He doesn't. Just like you. You are both talking out your rectum.

Da plane, da plane! Basilio is the Jim Jones cult of Knoxville talk radio. He lost his credibility on the 90's. Can't believe any station that cares about it's credibility would actually hire that guy.

I myself do not care for the state ran radio but I refuse to listen to the ridiculous National Enquirer agenda promoted by Basilio.

Most due, oh wait I forgot, "best show in Knoxville"

How long have recruits been ranked and rated? I'd be curious if the all-time NBA all-time greats were all 5-stars. I don't think it really goes back too far though.

It would also be interesting to see a list of NBA players that weren't consensus 4-stars or better.

A list of 5-stars that flamed out NOT due to injury would be another that I'd like to see.

So, to take three we would have to lose 1 to transfer, right? Or is that not counting Daniels, meaning we have to lose 2?
