Been around plenty long enough to not buy into the hype of rankings changing much either way

His weight has been a issue it seems and that makes me think he is a tad more of a risk that the others. I would rather have them.
Jmo

I get that, again the reviews coming from those who have seen him this week suggests otherwise those.

Here's one:
Isaiah Stokes looks like a whole new player this yr. In good shape. Punishing frame. God bless mom Stokes for grocery bill over the years.

An article from today says when he was primarily playing football he got up to 310, he's now down to 250, people have raved about the transformation.

Well, class lol. And yeah, it's true we hadn't had nobody at this point, but we heard of a few. We don't hear of nothing much right now.

You're saying no class has ever gone to July without signing someone? I would say there are more 2017 classes with 0 commits than there are with 1 or more, not sure what you're trying to say.

Updated Board...

2017 Offer List:

#47 Jermaine Samuels 6'6" 190lbs SF
#86 Alex Reese 6'9" 225lbs PF
#90 Lance Thomas 6'10" 210lbs PF
#95 Abu Kigab 6'7" 190lbs SF
#104 Raiquan Gray 6'8" 235lbs PF
#109 Victor Uyaelumno 6'11" 210lbs C
#125 Tyler Polley 6'7" 190lbs PF
#130 Lavar Batts 6'2" 160lbs PG
#143 Michael Durr 6'9" 210lbs C
#149 Isaiah Stokes 6'8" 235lbs PF
#171 Ibrahim Doumbia 6'8" 190lbs PF
#200 Brandon Huffman 6'9" 230lbs PF
#249 Victor Enoh 6'8" 235lbs PF

Few things...added added Reese, Durr and Enoh back on the board as coaches watched those guys some this week.

Tennessee appears to be in the best shape with Uyaelunmo, Stokes, Thomas, Doumbia and Gray currently with those guys all talking official visits to Tennessee this fall.

Samuels is a guy I think Tennessee will try with, they don't have a glaring need for a wing like they do a post, but their offer to him came with some attention so they're gonna kick the tires there it seems.

Brandon Huffman has been quiet the last couple weeks, UCONN & Texas A&M both offered recently, be something to keep an eye on with him.

Lavar Batts is gonna be interesting to watch...Tennessee doesn't seemingly need a PG, but he's pretty damn good and almost seems to be asking the Vols to recruit him. He has said he wants to wait until spring which if he elects to do so would make the probability of Tennessee upping their efforts much more likely.

Jmo on how I would categorize the above list by priority:

High: Uyaelunmo, Stokes, Thomas, Gray, Samuels, Doumbia

Medium: Huffman, Batts

Low: Polley, Kigab, Enoh, Reese, Durr

Give me uyaelunmo, stokes and Thomas, and I'll be happy. Much need size with stokes and uy. Thomas is a pretty big boy himself. (Inb4 Twss.)

Not sure if they'll take 3 bigs, will be something to watch. With them seemingly in it for Uyaelunmo, Thomas, Stokes, Doumbia, Huffman and Gray it will be interesting to see how they order their visits.

Doumbia is a long shot to me. It will help we were in early, but I feel like the uk's and dukes will be offering very soon.

That would be quite the jump in the level of his recruitment

It would be for sure, but when you watch him (atleast in highlights.) he just looks like an all sec guy. I think he's only 190 pounds, so it would take a few extra pounds. 220 would probably be idea.

He's a freak athletically and is raw, but he's definitely got the frame to add weight, no doubt.

SMU, TCU and Louisville have all offered Uyaelunmo recently; Baylor, Indiana and Texas A&M have all reached out.

NC State offered Lance Thomas today; Louisville reached out to him.

Give me those two for posts. Both will be great players and I think Thomas is a top 50 player. A big with those handles and shot is nice to have. Especially if we want to continue to push the pace. Uyaelmuno fills the need for a rim protector.

Take both if you can and maybe recruit Batts or someone else in the spring. We would be ignorant to not think someone might transfer from such a large freshmen class, no??

Do we really have a legitimate shot at signing ANY of these players? Maybe Stokes because of his brothers connection to UT?

The Vols also offered 6'6" Josiah James from Porter Guard. Class of 2019.

Verbal Commits

His only previous offers are College of Charleston and Charleston Southern. Maybe Tennessee knows something others don't.

The guys Tennessee seemed to be mentioned with watching the most this past week/weekend: Jermaine Samuels, Alex Reese, Lance Thomas, Raiquan Gray, Victor Uyelunmo and Isaiah Stokes.

I think Kigab, Polley and Batts are essentially off the list, haven't seen much on Durr, Doumbi, Huffman and Enoh.

That stinks on Batts because he has been playing really well it seems on articles I have read on him. I figured FSU eventually for Polley.
