You probably saw it on Ksr. If you wanted you could link it. I'm lazy and on mobile.
Here you go:
Kentucky contacts 7-foot Turkish star Omer Yurtseven | Kentucky Sports Radio

"@paxer89: Yurtseven in an interview with @EvanDaniels mentioned interest from Arizona, Arizona State, Duke, Baylor, California, Utah and Miami. #NCAA"

Well at least we are still on the downlow
As the great Sir Charles Barkley would say "this post is just tuuurible"What I was saying is, if it was said to Omer like that, "as many touches as you can handle." Some players don't want that. Some players don't want to carry the load. Also, it sends a bad message to your other bigs. Like I said, who am I to argue, BUT, if k was Rick here's how I would've said it. "Look, Omer, all of these other teams, they may promise you everything in the world. They may promise the NBA. I can't promise you nothing, because you're in control of yourself. I cant say you will be drafted, I can't say you're going to be all sec, that's up to you. But what I can promise, is a team that would gladly welcome you in, and help you in any way you needed that we are capable or doing."

Interesting NCAA news I was just told. Will try to find an official link but I was told the NCAA basically just put rules in place that will strongly encourage schools not to graduate their players in a timeframe so that kids would be able to transfer to other schools
A few months ago I posted I would simply slow down the summer classes and it seems that's what the NCAA is doing
Seems crazy but it's what I was told

Definitely interesting, couldn't schools just wait until summer classes were over to add these grad transfers though? Would seem to me it would just move the free agency from May to August, no?
Hopefully we land Yurtseven and it's a non-issue, good to see it was just an oversight from Daniels on the Tennessee omission.
Good news on daniels. Zero confidence from me on that one
From what I understand both the school losing the kid and getting the transfer would be hurt with apr scores if a kid transfers. As for the school receiving the kid they will be hurt if the kid doesn't get their grad degree

I would assume this years class is exempt anywayDon't think you'll see much of an impact this year if that's the only rule change, all the would be grad transfers are already enrolled and taking the classes necessary to be graduates come May, not like the school and pull them from those classes 1/2 way through the semester. Maybe this is the only changes done to attempt to slow it down in the future, but I see those rules having much effect at all on this year IMO.
According to their schedule, regular season ends May 8th. Not sure about postseason.Said in the Daniels interview he will visit schools after his season in turkey is over, not sure when that is.
