Against a division 2 guy. Still not impressed. Don't get me wrong. I'm not an evaluator of talent. Hope if he signs he plays his ass off. I'm not trying to dog him. But with our recent luck with bigs. Not holding my breath. I'm more curious about the potential foreign guy.

I wasn't linking the move to show his talent lol. I was saying he is noticeably thinner than a video from when he was at St. John's.

Cofer: 4 ppg
Cornish: 5 ppg
Larry Austin: 2 ppg
Turman: none because he got kicked off the team
Darius Thompson: 5 ppg
AJ Davis (who is doing the best): 13 ppg and 6 rpg

Punter: 22 ppg
Mostella: 9 ppg
Baulkman: 9 ppg

McGhee, Owens, Willie transferred
Woodson got kicked off the team
Chiles was hurt the whole year
McKnight didn't get qualified...

With all that said I'd give CDT the nod just off of Punter and Mostella. Plus he gave us Schofield and Phillips.

I wish he could have talked AJ and Thompson into staying and possibly Cofer. That would make this roster a whole lot better.

Very clear which coach brought in better kids in those classes. Not even close

Yeah I think CDT was a better talent evaluator but would have brought us a lot of trouble. Oh well we have a better coach than both of those coaches now though will a hell of an underrated class coming in.

Take out the Tyndall is a lying cheat part and I can make a very strong argument that we are looking at an NCAA birth right now if he stays.

Add
Gray
Owens
Carmichael

To this team now and easily we could have 16-17 wins already.

That doesn't even take into account I think allen and the kid are va tech would be in orange without the idiot cheating of that fool

I'm not sure we are 4-5 games better solely with the addition of Gray, Owens, and Carmichael, but if you add Clarke and Allen to that, I'd bet we are.

Without the context of the way we have lost games I would agree for sure

But with how we have lost games we aren't very far at all from being 16-8 right now

Tyndall had Grad Transfer's PG Ge'Lawn Guyn and PF-C James White set to come in. G Rob Gray, Mostella would have transferred. He and Tyndall did not mix well. TCU G Malique Trent was going to visit also.

Yes Mostella was gone for sure it seems

Those are names I am not familiar with

They were expecting big things from Cofer this season.
Was lost to injury and surgery early in the season.

Would Punter be the player that he is today with CDT coaching? I doubt it. He had no plans on changing his shot. I think you have to add that in with your what-if. Clarke and Gray would have helped this team a lot, but I still think this would be a bubble team at best. They have both missed quite a few games this year with injuries but I doubt that goes into your hypothetical situation.

I think punter would have been a 14-16pt game under Tyndall this year.
Just a normal progression for a kid after 1 year

Yes I was not figuring in any injuries to clarke or gray in that post

I think he would have done better than that. He was going to get the majority of Richardson's shots this year regardless of who the coach was.

He's definitely pissed off his coach, in digging through tweets in Turkish and using google translate lol, it's been known over there for months apparently Duke and Tennessee were after Yurtseven. His club offered him a 5 year contract making him a pro, and he apparently declined the offer and is now in Toronto at the BWB NBA camp, that's what has his coach irked.

What will become interesting is what did he really receive for benefits, and just what story does his coach tell the NCAA? He's informed his coach he's transferring to a US college, his coach in a fury says he's ineligible, is his coach gonna lie to the NCAA and say he was paid more or received impermissible benefits? Will his coach cooperate?

Not sure anyone has a clue right now either way, as expected with a foreign product, but you'd have to think Omer is receiving info from somewhere if he's turning down that offer and heading to the states?

Imo, he's too big of a risk. Go after a player out of highschool.
