Lol, ok. According to you, inexperience in our depth chart isn’t a depth problem.Lol, ok. According to you, even though we seem to be 2 deep at nearly every position we have a depth problem because many are Fr, yet teams like Alabama don't have depth problems because their name is Alabama. We don't have a depth problem, we have an experience problem.
One player will never change the outcome of a season, however if/when injuries occur that one player becomes very important but as far as now goes my season prediction is unchanged with this fantastic news
We are going to play 10 offensive linemen and 10 DL this year. We are going to play 7 or 8 at LB, we have a good stable of 3-4 at RB and have 3-4 that will play TE. Depth is not an issue as we have talented players in our 2 deep. Experience is the only problem we have. As for our OL we will have three former 5* guys and a couple of 4* alongside them, if they stay healthy I think they'll be pretty damn good.Until we can build more depth and get some bangers on the OL and DL, I’ll say 6-6 this year or 7-5.
Haven’t seen one single 5 star on that remaining available depth chart for linebackers.I said we don't match up in talent with Bama, I didn't say anything about their depth. Alabama can have all the depth issues they want when they roll out on offense and have 10 former 5 stars and one 4 star. You see the difference, right?
7-5 is the floor, 8-4 the expectation. 9-3 or better and Pruitt should be national coach of the year.
I have seen multiple people predict a loss to UK and I've seen multiple SEC East predictions with them ahead of us and it blows my mind. When I look at our schedule outside of the non conference games, that is the single most game i predict as a win. They lost so much of their talent from last year its insane and we still beat the brakes off of them with that talent. IMO we have improved all over the field except for DL and to be honest i think they could be an improvement from last year because even though those guys had experience they still didn't much know what they were doing in Pruitt's new defense. Am I ready to mark Florida up as a win, no for the simple fact its in the swamp but Kentucky.....come on.
Kentucky is nowhere near as good this year as they were last season, culture or not. Last season they were led by a Sr class that had 2 superstars in it, this season they are the exact opposite. The idea with UK is that Stoops has built a strong foundation that leads to a culture of winning and last year they finally turned the corner. Compare it to Butch who built his good teams on a weak foundation. Once our stars left the whole team fell apart. If Stoops has built UK the right way they should be able to withstand their stars leaving
No way they replace Snell or Allen. Also I believe they lost a good amount of other pieces to their defense and OL.The idea with UK is that Stoops has built a strong foundation that leads to a culture of winning and last year they finally turned the corner. Compare it to Butch who built his good teams on a weak foundation. Once our stars left the whole team fell apart. If Stoops has built UK the right way they should be able to withstand their stars leaving
Look here genius read my other post , I said a starting qb could alter a season for the good or bad, dude I've played this game for 15 years 4 of which was at the university that we're on here talking about, so please spare me all of your football knowledge. I'm so happy he was granted eligibility but rather he was or not it wouldn't change our win/ loss for this seasonThat’s a stupid statement, think about it for a minute........”one player will never change the outcome of a season”

Only if...Just don't see it. I don't think we go from being blown out by Vanderbilt 1 year to winning 10 games the next with the same coaching staff and with the same offensive line and same quarterback. Would be nice though.I feel confident in saying our Defense will be much improved and our record will look like this...
GSU - W
BYU - W
CHAT - W
FLA - W
UGA - L
MSU - W
ALA - L
USC - W
UAB - W
UK - W
MIZ - W
VAN - W
Our glaring weaknesses were the OL and the DL and with the additions of Wright and Morris and the news about Trey the Offense is going to be stout this year. I can’t wait to see what Chaney does with this team. On the defensive side of the ball the news about Solomon was huge because I feel he was the missing piece and Ansley and Pruitt will put together a great defense that will shock some people. My shades are on and all I see is ORANGE!!! Flame away.
