So, I went to the doctor Thursday for an ongoing problem. Not sure who is asking the screening questions so I'll call them an aide.

Aide-Why are we seeing you today?
Slydell-For the same yada yada problem I've been having the past year.
Aide-Allergic to any meds?
Slydell-Same answer as the last 20 times I've been here.
Aide-Do you smoke or drink?
Slydell-WTF does that have to do with why I'm here today?
Aide-Smoking and drinking causes a great many deaths in the US.
Slydell-So does stopping a bullet or jumping off a cliff.

So, I had a little surgery on 5/1. At the surgery center, they told me that my portion of the bill would be $500 so I paid it up front. On, 6/6, I received a bill from Tennova for an additional amount. I went to their website and paid a third of it. On 6/13, I received a robo call to call Tennova patients accounts to settle up. On 6/20, I received another call with basically the same song and dance. Tonight, I received another robo call regarding the same issue. Tomorrow, I will call the number they left on my voice mail. Should be an interesting call.
