They testing to see if you want it.![]()
Make 'em know you can take anything they can dish out. I know it's a hard thing when you're young but will pay off later on with big paychecks and vacations in Fiji.I'm contracted there for 8 weeks. It's entirely possible. They are overpaying me for doing very little actual work. Just recording downtime of equipment. But the plant I'm at is running some weekends too. I've been there 11 hours a day the last few days. I might work a few weekends during that stretch. Any money is good money right now
Did you tell him to come down to the house and you would show him what's up or is this the kinder and gentler bub?my dog pees on his front leg everytime he goes. Maybe he will pay more attention as he gets older. I think the old donkey is depressed, I was in the yard today and he started braying at me so I came in the house and got him some carrots. He didnt eat any carrots, I think he just needed a friend for a minute.

Yo.
Went back and read what I have missed since work. Sounds like a rough night. Tried not to cry my babyass through the last few pages.
Miss my dad terribly. Couple weeks ago I took on a repair project on the car. When I got done I picked up my phone to call my dad and tell him what a pain in the ass job it was.....and realized I couldnt do that. So I sat on the deck with an ice tea and talked to him from there.
Hang in there yall.
Never talked to ya on here, but I couldn't imagine what you are going through. I'm sorry man.
Thanks I appreciate it. My pops was a good, upstanding, everyday working man. Busted his ass for us kids, and we all appreciated it.
He fought Cancer like a freaking beast, trying to make it to his 50th wedding anniversary. He made it, and it was obvious that he was battling hard. 2 Months later he was gone. Tried to get there one last time to see him before he went, and missed him by 5 min. I dont regret anything, but I still get a little pissed about it sometimes. He knew how I felt, I knew how he felt. Just such a great dude. I wish my 5 year old could have gotten to know him longer, he still talks about how great his grandpa was. And he only got the tip of the iceberg.
If you didn't read my too long post about going to a Vols football game with my dad, make a point of going with yours some time soon. Never regret it.My dad was the youngest of 5 kids. My granddad was like 20 years older than my grandmother. I never knew him. So I couldn't imagine how he felt. I just haven't experienced that yet.
My dad has been my inspiration through my life so far. He pushed me to go to college even though my mom or dad never did. He got me into the field I'm in. Disappointing him was always my biggest fear. The fact that my oldest uncle just died from diabetes and he's about 10 years older than my dad who also has diabetes, it just makes me think. I guess I just need to spend more time with my dad.
