Maybe. He's 62. He worries me a little as I wish he would work until at least 65 to help pad a little more but it's his life and his plan. I'm the official worrier of the DD extended family.

Btw you'd be welcome. Swim and drank. I really do wanna see him sloppy drunk for this one. He's almost always in control. Lulz.

Right on the number, what's his birfday.

He actually posted in here once. Lulz. He leaves this area alone though as he knows this is where I party. He's a pretty funny dude though.

Just had a friend of mine retire this week. He has been trying to retire since November but the bank he has worked at for 50 years kept telling him that they were training someone to take his place. He fell for it since November apparently.

Dad held out for severance. He knew his group was going to have a layoff so he told his boss to pick his number. Worked out good, six months of pay to add to everything.

I look forward to retirement. By then, Leighton should be well on his way in the world. Me and the wife have big plans, hopefully we can stay healthy and see them through. My parents werent able to do so. Worked hard all of their lives and my dad got sick and had to retire. He died less than a year later.

Amen - hopefully we all can.

Remember to love your parents...We are so busy growing up, we often forget they are also growing old.
