you know, most kids I have seen over the years would be alot better if their parents would back the **** off and let them have fun. Most of them go to **** when the parents start yelling at them to do something. I guess most parents try to live their lives through their kids. I refuse to do that.

The kids whose dads did that won't touch a basketball anymore. My dad just say back and I still love playing.

I always watch Leightons games from the outfield foul pole on the dugout side they are on. I watch alot of parents run to the dugout between innings and tell their kids what they are doing wrong. I have never done that. I let him do his thing and it works out great. He has a great knowledge of the game and definately doesnt need my dumbass telling him what he needs to do. Sometimes we discuss it on the drive home if he starts the conversation, if not, we dont.

my boy is still just 5. His TBall games, sigh, the parents get so intense. I got the the point that I would talk to him when he came to me inbetween innings (he;s just 5 after all) and let the crappy coaches do what they do.

I always made sure he knew I was watching, but I cant take it as serious as some of those nutjob parents.

The real learning for him goes on in our back yard, and watching TV. We try to watch enough that he knows what real baseball is, and he bats regularly. Throws all the time. Always throwing something. He is a strong armed lefty. Im going to be very careful with how we treat the arm. All joking aside, this kid has potential to be a very special athlete.

youngest daughter just brought her English Bulldog over for my wife to keep while she is gone on vacation next week. As soon as the dog got out of the car, Phillip was trying to bury the sausage.

Zimmerman will walk. Outside the closing argument or rebuttal by the prosecution they pulled a Cayley Anthony. Not enough substantial evidence.

Just got a call from a buddy. His uncle has stage 4 terminal lung cancer. He can't eat cause it's too painful, so they give him cookies with weed in them to make it easier.

He works at a walk in clinic, grabbed the wrong bag of cookies when he left this morning. Gave 2 each to half his office. Needless to say that half of the office didn't do any work after lunch.

Inb4 tl;dr and cool story bro

wtf dude, tell us about a guy with terminal cancer and follow it with a guy accidentally getting the office high cause of that. :eek:hmy: :unsure:
