That's just where the most tension is. It's close-minded to only care if that group is offended, but that's how it is sometimes. You hear people crack on Jews all the time, and no one makes a big deal about it. My ancestors were practicing Jews, and while I am not and don't really get offended, I do wish everything was equal.

Who are you angry at? Whites for what they did to you all? Blacks for being offended by the N-word? Your anger seems scatter shot and without direction. Far more of it seems to be the glossing over the plight of the native Americans has received in recent times, and not offensive words.

Placement of your hands on the bar(with weights on it) will change how much you can lift.

If I could be really cynical I would have to say it's the number of you all left by comparison to the number of us around. It's easy to forget if there are not constant reminders of the terrible things our nation has done.

I still fail to see where your anger will get you though? Are you trying to change the standard? It's a pretty one sided discussion, the use of the derogatory terms for native Americans is wrong but oddly we don't show signs of changing, or even caring for that matter.

It just hasn't come full circle for some reason. There were teams named:

Atlanta Black Crackers
Austin Black Senators
New York Black Yankees
Homestead Grays

etc.

I think it's a difference in who pushed back the most and got things going the other way. The right way.

No. They were from the 50's and earlier. They were formed in an era when black people couldn't play with or against white people. Had to go in the back door of motel and restaurants. Sit in the back of the bus, etc. They continued to forge ahead and eventually change did come. They basically took on the mantra of Joe Hill. If a cause is worth living for, it's worth dying for.
