Sly, a friend sent me this and thought of ya. You probably have heard it.

State Trooper stops an old lady for speeding. Looking through her papers, he notices a concealed carry permit. Asks the woman if she has any concealed weapons. She reveals a .45 in the glovebox. Asks if she has any others. She shows him a glock in the center console. Asks a third time. She tells him there is a sawed off shotgun in the trunk.

Cop asks "mam, what are you afraid of?"
Old lady "not a damn thing."

Morale - don't underestimate senior citizens. They didn't get old by being dumb.

a pattern? :whistling:

Sly what was the business of your travels? Business?

Business and pleasure. Worked for a large corp that would relocate me around the country. I was what they called a turn-around guy. Anyway, got to travel a lot on the company money. Also, incorporated vacations into business trips.

I heard that for the first time a few weeks ago. Funny stuff right there. Reminds me of a friend.

Haven't been through there in about 10 years. I'm not saying the area isn't nice, but driving downtown didn't look all that good.

Im not biased by any means... But Chattanooga is beautiful... It obviously has it's bad parts... Downtown area is ok.... But there are some great sights.

It's not just Chatt. I just don't like any cities anymore. Nothing but too much concrete blocking the scenery that used to be there. That's part of what I like about here. I can drive 10-15 miles and be on top of a 12000' mountain with no trace of humans in sight. I understand the movie Jeremiah Johnson a lot more after living here.
