i dont have it. he was on earlier(during the first storm), and said it went just south of his town. havent heard anything since.
 
I just seen footage of Tuscaloosa on news channel 5. Lord have mercy it look like a bomb hit the place!! Let's keep all those folks in our prayers.

Sorry I've been gone guys, my computer **** again. It had a defect were it burns out the motherboards.......the guy just gave me this Acer thingy. Works fine, so far :crossfingers:

Might have been a defect or it could have been a heat issue. Laptops run pretty hot. Do you have it flat on a desk or table when you're using it? If so, elevate so air can circulate under and around it. A plastic bottle cap under each corner will do some good. The motherboard went out on my new desktop computer 6 months ago and they had to replace it. When I got it back, I noticed it was running hot but didn't pay any attention to it until it started shutting down a few times a day. Added a cyclone blower in an expansion slot, tweaked a few things to control the fans and now runs a comfortable 36-38 degrees. Was pushing 50-56 degrees before. I always elevate my laptop. It's 7 years old and going strong.

I had those fan thingys, didn't help. It wasn't the heat, it was some defect. Went through 3 motherboards.
