It said my shortcuts were no longer active and would not work, so I deleted them. I can't access chrome from the start menu because it was uninstalled. I guess I just gotta redo it.
Try this. When you reinstall it, give it a different name. Something in the update is searching out Chrome and deleting it.
Go to the directory it is in and name it George or something.
This is, also, a good trick for your antivirus software. Rename it to something completely different. When maleware hits your computer, it can't find the antivirus software and disable it like it normally does.
