OCs are not overrated....
On a serious note, id love to get the opinions from those that agreed with Pruitt using lack of talent as an excuse for poor performance last season. This class is currently ranking close to or worst than 3 of the last four. 2018 being the exception. It also ranks in the bottom tier of the sec. So how them to we come to the conclusion that things will improve?
The numbers don't lie, and this being one of the lower tier classes that we have had in the last 4 years is problematic especially with the rest of the SEC doing so well. That being said, my only hope is that CJP is better and more committed to player development and that those developments (should they occur) compensate for the less than stellar talent level. This recruiting cycle is decent considering our last two seasons, but the record at the end of 2019 really dictates the next recruiting cycle, and that is where we will learn if we are truly on our way back to prominence or if we are in for yet another coaching change and more "rebuilding" .
