What did they expect him to do??? Let Nico run all over him and do whatever he wanted? Sit on 2 QBs, rollBoosters will be pissed if we take the UCLA kid. It’s the optics. That we got UCLA leftovers. If we go that route, and it doesn’t go well. Heupel will have burnt some important bridges with money guys. I hope it works out.
Yep, he comes in hair on fire to prove what he is.I’m all in on Joey Aguilar just from the sheer fact that he got screwed over by the Iamaleava’s in all this as well
People forget, Hendon Hooker got BENCHED at Virginia Tech and only transferred for playing time, same with Joe Milton. 7,000+ yards and nearly 60 TD’s at the college level is almost as good as we could’ve hoped for
Huepel is going to love the underdog mentality he is going to bring and I’m excited to cheer the kid on, win or lose!
You should post 600 more times about this. Spare us all and go to therapy. If we lose to Syracuse, Heupel better pray he doesn’t lose to the big three. Boosters won’t be happy being made fools after they have ponied up a lot of money for these recent teams.
We need another playoff appearance and to make sure Faizon signs.
“Boosters” in this case is just him. These are just his thoughts. What did they expect him to do??? Let Nico run all over him and do whatever he wanted? Sit on 2 QBs, roll
The dice, and see how that plays out this fall? He didn’t have much of a choice in the matter. If a kid won’t leave his team high and dry, like Nico did, you have to respect that and move on. I’m sure that’s what coach had to do, so this is probably best available in this situation. It was a no win situation Nico put the coaches and the team in.
He led his team to the playoff ls his first year starting. Defense, Sampson blah blah. His resume is already 10x what Aguilar will likely ever accomplish.
Sounds like from a bunch of people, $$ wasn’t an issue here. Screw any booster (imo) that doesn’t back what our HC thinks is the best option because he didn’t do what they thought was right. That’s how you lose a program and ultimately your jobBoosters will be pissed if we take the UCLA kid. It’s the optics. That we got UCLA leftovers. If we go that route, and it doesn’t go well.
