Pti tn v. Usc

No i'm sure Kiffin had a hand in it. But it was Chaney's offense, those were his plays. To sit there and say Kiffin single handedly turned Crompton into an NFL quarterback is a bit much and that's fairly obvious.

So is saying Kiffin did nothing to help Crompton.

Agreed. Look, I think the Kiffin Krew on here (SGM, Hat, JG, etc) give him WAY too much credit when there are very few results. Ironically they give Dooley very little credit when he is equally unproven but that is beside the point. Fact is, Crompton did things under Kiffin that he didn't do under the previous staff. Kiffin deserves credit for that. Chaney deserves credit as well.

Kiffin might have called the plays. But i don't think he deserves near the amount of credit that so many of his azz kissers on this site continually throw at him for whatever reason. I personally believe Crompton would've fared just as well with Chaney calling plays.

I'm sure having the head coach take all the criticiscm for the QB play had nothing to do with Crompton improving either.

Plus you would never see Saban running the same play 4 times in a row on the endzone which is why he is a winner.

Actually in last year's game he ran the wildcat with Ingram all the way down to the 3, and proceeded to call three passing plays in a row and had to settle for a FG

You know these facts are imagined, right? You dreamed all that. In 5 seconds, Hat is going to tell you how it really happened. How it wasn't Kiffin's fault. How he called a different play 4 times but it wasn't ran for some reason. Kiffin is too amazing of a coach to do the same play 4 times in a row.

No he won't, he'll disappear for several pages and then call out someone who makes an argument a 7 year old could deconstruct... at which point he'll disappear again and his crew will take it upon themselves to run up a 200 post thread arguing with the mentally handicapped.

Yeah, look at all those starters abandoning ship. Hold on. What? Oh, that's right. The "exodus" at this point consists of a gimp with a busted neck, a guy who was removed from the roster in the spring, a backup defensive end, and safety buried on the depth chart. I don't know how LAX is handling all that outgoing traffic.

If that were happening at UT under Dooley you would use it as unequivocal proof that he isn't fit for the job.

Why the double standard?

Can I chime in on Kiffin?

He didn't have a Quarterback until the UGA game, six games into the season. To criticize anything he did in the UCLA, FLA, or AUBURN games is insane. Unless you want to criticize his decision to stick with Crompton. Crompton was a basket case back then.

Kiffin is a self-centered jerk, but he can definitely coach.

Yeah, he really got me. Don't know how I'll ever recover. Hold on. All better now.

He read your MO like a book. Not really a "knockout punch," just a window into your soul... your black, cantankerous soul which is kept from the depths of hell by feeding upon the many fools who dare to claim McBee is the best player on the team.

His best offensive lineman and his best running back prospect have exited during Dooley's tenure. Remind me how much I've hammered him for that.

He can coach??????????? He sure was a genius in that UCLA game. Lets run up the middle 4 times in a row, that will fool'em :eek:lol:

The only thing he can do is recruit.
He's just like Calapari. He recruits with shady tactics(see hostess gate) and would have us on probation within 5-10 years(see USuCk,USC).If you can't recruit legally, all that proves is you can't recruit.:rtfm:

Not really. The only time I shred someone and leave immediately is when they are advocating a position so absurd that it merits only a single insult. Those positions are put forth by people who are a special kind of stupid.
