You know these facts are imagined, right? You dreamed all that. In 5 seconds, Hat is going to tell you how it really happened. How it wasn't Kiffin's fault. How he called a different play 4 times but it wasn't ran for some reason. Kiffin is too amazing of a coach to do the same play 4 times in a row.

:eek:lol: oh yeah sorry your right, kiffin called the play and it was UT's fault for not getting it in the end zone. Sorry hat I was wrong.

What would you have done? Had Crompton drop back and throw ANOTHER interception?

He can coach??????????? He sure was a genius in that UCLA game. Lets run up the middle 4 times in a row, that will fool'em :eek:lol:

The only thing he can do is recruit.

Be careful...I used that very thing as an example of why he leaves something to be desired in terms of coaching and someone (forgot who it was) actually tried to engage me with the rationale that all that was Crompton's fault.

Kornheiser and Wilbon can keep their sympathy. Tennessee needs to get over Kiffin, and Lane needs to get over himself.

Yeah, look at all those starters abandoning ship. Hold on. What? Oh, that's right. The "exodus" at this point consists of a gimp with a busted neck, a guy who was removed from the roster in the spring, a backup defensive end, and safety buried on the depth chart. I don't know how LAX is handling all that outgoing traffic.

Seantrel Henderson...though its because of the sanctions not Kiffin.

I guess Alabama's loss to Louisiana-Monroe in '07 means Saban can't coach.

Unfortunately your reading skills are below par. The original post was that Kiffin can coach. You see you can't say Kiffin can coach with under .500 record. You see Saban has a national Championship and a winning record to boot. Plus you would never see Saban running the same play 4 times in a row on the endzone which is why he is a winner.

To be honest, that was the least of his gaffes that game. Not his fault our OL decided to become pussiness personified at the most important juncture in the game. I'd say playing Gerald Jones ahead of Marsalis Teague was his biggest mistake of that game.

The way we showed up to play UCLA was pitiful. We play UF and Bama hard put played like pantsies against UCLA. We should of at least beat them by 14. We ripped UGA a new one later in the season.

What did I misread? You're the one implying that you can completely and accurately judge a coach by a single game. All I did was offer an example to expose the silliness of that argument.

Right at an All American DT ( Brian Price ) no less, made me sick.

Anybody else remember 3 consecutive running plays against Florida when we started at 1st and 20?

Care to elaborate on what exactly "pantsies" are?

Yeah, let's put the ball in the air in that situation and watch Joe Haden score the other way, Tony George style.

one game???? did you not see what AU did to us. we looked stupid out there on the field. Yes I can say he can't coached. How can anybody defend him with a losing record. let him win some huge games then talk to me about being a winning coach.

The fact that he can coach is an opinion though so far and has no fact to back it up, kid. He has not won a bowl game or a play-off game in his career and is still under .500. That's a fact. He may be a great coach one day with his daddy helping him ... but that's one day. You have no facts yet to say he's a great coach.

1. He doesn't have a losing record as a college coach.

2. Not a big Dooley fan then I guess? People do this every single day on this board when they have any sort of hope for the next few years of UT football.

I want to know the reasoning behind Kiffin can coach?

Those who say, well Crompton shouldn't have been allowed to throw against UCLA can't use the excuse well we should've beat Alabama. Because everyone here knows we should've ran a couple of more plays before the FG.

Yet Kiffin tried to deflect his own stupidity to the refs saying he didn't want to put the game in the refs hands. Just like he tried to deflect the record of 7-6 on talent, when we had plenty of talent last year.

I'm not questioning the man's recruiting because he can recruit with the best of them; however, how can you tell he can coach?

Many USC fans blamed his poor offensive game calling for the reason they lost to Texas.

Against Florida, you can sugarcoat it all you want but he was playing to not get blown out so his name could be in the news. If it wasn't for a late Tebow fumble when they were about to score another TD, that game would've been another massacre. How anybody can look at the Florida game and say Lane Kiffin can coach is baffling.

Kiffin talked and talked and talked and tried to make it out like this team was so bad last year when in reality it was pretty good team. He promised us better special teams, and they once again were terrible. And people will say, it's because of the punter and kicker. However, I don't care how bad your kicker and punter are, you find a way to have great kick coverage.

So let's put a wait and see on how good of a coach he is.

I don't know. Ask the Dooley Defenders.

yeah but nobody is calling Dooley a great coach unlike some of the Vol trolls who were saying Kiffin can coach. The only thing that Kiffin has proved is he has a big mouth and he can recruit

You should be able to execute on an out route, a screen to the tight end or a half back pass. Kiffin should have had options other than throw to Joe Haden's side.

Running three times off guard or tackle wasn't going to pick up 20 yards.

is this really your argument 7-5 record :eek:lol::eek:lol:

Well pack up and find a new team. What will UT do with Dooley? Don't know but being grim and we haven't even played a snap is rediculous.
