Pti tn v. Usc

Why would you interrupt the repetitive, mindless babbling of this board's equivalent of the Shockmaster with a statement of fact? That seems to be overkill.

How can you call that statement fact? I know the part about him being a pos is but the guy has never really proved he can coach anything.

Yeah, look at all those starters abandoning ship. Hold on. What? Oh, that's right. The "exodus" at this point consists of a gimp with a busted neck, a guy who was removed from the roster in the spring, a backup defensive end, and safety buried on the depth chart. I don't know how LAX is handling all that outgoing traffic.

Did you forget about Seantrel? I don't think he has the #1 class anymore.

Then you either don't read or can't read.

I haven't seen anyone call him a great coach. I've heard people say they think he WILL BE a good coach, which is nowhere near being out of the realm of possibility.

Wanna bet Kiffin winds up with a good job even if he flops at USC?

I'd happily take that bet. Well i guess that depends on what you would refer to as being a "good" job. Make no mistake, if he can't win at USC, he won't win anywhere. I personally believe he'll be at USC for quite sometime though. I don't believe he'll "flop" persay, but i don't see him having near the success that Carroll had, disregarding sanctions.

Safety buried on the depth chart? Dude is second in the rotation, and from all accounts I've read(on the USC boards) he's a complete stud. Many thought he would start at some point this year. Don't misrepresent the facts to try to make your argument sound better.

He can coach??????????? He sure was a genius in that UCLA game. Lets run up the middle 4 times in a row, that will fool'em :eek:lol:

The only thing he can do is recruit.

What would you have done?

Crompton threw what 3 picks already?

Any OL worth a piss should be able to pick up 6 inches.

You give the ball to the bell cow.

He did. It just took time. He had to de-Fulmerize him first.

I was pointing out that he used Crompton's play as an excuse to run 4 times in a row. In a previous post, he used Crompton's improvement to try to justify Kiffin being a good coach. He needs to make up his mind.

You'd be better off just adding him to the ignore list rather than trying to reason with him. Along with the rest of his little online posse. :eek:lol:

Did you watch any games last year?

Crompton got progressively better as the season went on and the WRs got fully healthy.

Do you put the ball in a QB's hands that had already thrown several picks or give the ball to your stud RB?

Plus you would never see Saban running the same play 4 times in a row on the endzone which is why he is a winner.

Actually Saban did run the same play multiple times in a row. The fade play to Julio in the back of the endzone vs the Vols last season.

I'm really getting sick of the posters who somehow still worship Kiffin and put down our coach every chance they get. It's pretty clear to me that they are trolls posing as UT fans. Please go away and let us enjoy discussing Tennessee sports without your constant negativity! You are worse than the Gators trolls last year.

Judging by your post count you have not been discussing much.

I agree. UT needs to get over him. The billboard in LA makes us look like a bunch of sore losers. Even if he was the best or worst coach of all time it makes no difference now. I thought he did some good things like develop Crompton and brought in a top coaching staff. His clock management was terrible at times, he couldn't control his mouth and he didn't keep his word. I hope he bombs out at USC, but if he doesn't, I could care less. Buck him.

So the guy calling the plays has no hand in "dumbing down" the offense?

Interesting.

No i'm sure Kiffin had a hand in it. But it was Chaney's offense, those were his plays. To sit there and say Kiffin single handedly turned Crompton into an NFL quarterback is a bit much and that's fairly obvious.
