Psn

182 is the definition of 360 fanboy for sure. it's funny watching him get all tore up.

everyone here knows i prefer the ps3 and have had 2 360's that i have gotten rid of, but to try to even make the argument that ps3 beats 360 after this mess is pretty silly. that said, i am sticking with ps3 when this deal gets resolved.

who knows, maybe the 3rd 360 will be the charm. doubtful, but you never know.

My gut is PSN is going to cave in and go with a revamped system paid for with a pay to play membership. Not saying this time but it's going to happen sooner than later.

they have already have an optional pay service. its called playstation plus. they would have to totally scrap that aspect. not sure how all that would play out. not saying it couldn't happen. maybe they grandfather those people in or something...

Honestly was their biggest mistake, marginal benefits for pay isn't much of a incentive .They just need to cut their losses with this approach, get on par with online technology before it's too late. I'm not a fanboy by any means but it wasn't for the horrible RROD fiasco, Playstation would be going the way of the Dreamcast by now. Online play is the main concern for most gamers these days and Microsoft saw that from the beginning and built the superior platform. If Sony didn't listen to the whiners that didn't want to pay 60 bucks a year for a legit online community then they probably wouldn't be in this embarrassing mess right now.

no doubt about it.

don't mind me. just stating the truth.
It's nice....I personally don't care either way about the ps3 vs xbox debate. I have a ps3 now, used to have an xbox and I enjoy playing on both of them. Probably would have both if I had the money (which I do, but I have more important purchases to make). So yada yada yada....who really gives a grit!

Mania, I don't see the point in buying another console. I don't see you using it really much at all, especially if you plan on using it only when psn is down. Plus you need to get out of the house more....your place is starting to smell like mildew and body odor. Just assuming

I wasn't a fan of xbox from the start because of the controller. Then because of pay to play online. I always liked the PS controller & the games they offered. As far as connectivy issues go I'm sure they have them on xbox just like on ps3. Believe it or not your connection through your ISP plays a big part of how good your connection is online. Let's not forget PSN is down becsuse of hackers & it's not totally impossible that it couldn't happen to the xbox.

It wouldn't take long for microsoft to fix it. That's the difference. No one knows for sure it was hackers or not except sony either. sony could have just crashed for all we know.

Which is probably what happened. Ive heard a few times it could have had something to do with the Portal 2 release.

If true that's sad. I mean, the superior system couldn't even handle the release of a game. That's just sad.
