I doubt it crashed because of a game considering each game runs on it's own server. I've been playing an online game & psn cut out for a second but still continue to play online. I just hit the ps button & sign back in when I get a chance.

I wasn't a fan of xbox from the start because of the controller. Then because of pay to play online. I always liked the PS controller & the games they offered. As far as connectivy issues go I'm sure they have them on xbox just like on ps3. Believe it or not your connection through your ISP plays a big part of how good your connection is online. Let's not forget PSN is down becsuse of hackers & it's not totally impossible that it couldn't happen to the xbox.

to each their own. i've played both and IMO the 360 probably has the most comfortable controller i've ever played with. not that the ps3's is bad, but it doesn't have the same feel or comfort level IMO.

Not sure if its because of portal but I also been reading alot that sony used hackers as an excuse. Like I said though I dont know whyd they would cover up "rebuilding of the system". The only reason I see why they would try to cover it up is if the whole system crashed.

There was a recent change in how you add funds to your PSN account. Just guessing maybe that had something to do with it.
