PS4 VS Xbox720

I will still buy the Xbox for my core gaming and the PS for the Show, and life will continue on.

he used this pic to prove his point - not helping your case sir!!

He may not be so full of himself if this is how many potential Xbox (720?) owners 'deal with it':

Yeah I figure with the ps3 I won't be missing anything I have on Xbox, plus I'll get to play MLB also.

IMO MLB The Show has been the greatest sports game this generation! The NBA 2K series is great as well but The Show takes the crown for me. The level of detail and realism is just incredible! I cannot wait to see this series on the PS4!

I wish the NFL would stop selling license exclusivity to EA and allow other competitors to make football games again! EA needs the competition and there at the end, the NFL 2k series was better!

I agree with you on the Show. Also, FIFA and NBA2k are up there with it. Even if the NFL games could be made by more develoipers, there would be an issue of which company could bring the money to compete with EA?

anyone that wants to argue that live is better than psn as far as connectivity is smoking the m$ crack pipe plain and simple. if party chat is worth the $5-$6 a month to you, pay it. that and cross game chat is the only thing live has on psn. ps+ is far superior if you want to shell out cash for online gaming just on the free titles you get alone.

The always on requirement will leave a bad taste in the mouths of current XBOX users. I have a feeling the will see a huge drop to Sony.

Some may revolt, but people are making a bigger deal out of this than it really is. Majority of gaming now is MP that requires a constant connection anyway. Like it or not, all gaming and movies in-general will all be content download in the future, and DRM will be all over it. Why would companies keep spending money to burn disc? They will charge the same amount if not more, and spend less money in the process. The constant online puts a huge road block up for copying games.

It certainly is. That said, I'd be shocked if Sony doesn't have a comparable feature next time around.

They will. The PS Vita already has it (free of charge) so you can bet that the PS4 will have it as well.

What I wish people would get through their heads though is that the reason MS has X-game chat/party chat and Sony does not is due to a RAM issue that the PS3 simply cannot overcome. It has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that MS charges for their network and Sony doesn't. Yet when I hear Live users say "hey, having to pay for online is worth it for X-game chat/party chat, I just shake my head becuase that is absolutely no justification for MS to charge you to play online. It's just not because that is 100% a hardware feature that costs MS absolutely nothing to maintain.

If I were a Live user I would be pissed at MS for charging me for services that others provide for free.

I would rather have the feature, whether paying for it or not, than not have it. How ****ing hard is that to comprehend?

:eek:lol:

I love it! You Xbox users get so irate when it comes to defending your precious Live accounts. I guess I understand. You have to justify having to be charged for it somehow, even though the same features are offered free elsewhere.

I'm not defending anything. I like the feature and wouldn't own a system without it. I'm just thinking you're about as smart as the north end of a southbound donkey for not being able to grasp that tidbit.

And I feel the same about you for not being able to grasp the fact that you are unjustifiably being charged to use a service that you should get for free.....and you're OKAY with it! Who's the dumb one?

Who else currently has party chat, for free on a console, that allows three different users to chat that are playing three different games? On the nights we play, it normally starts out with 3-4 of us on BF3 in party chat, and normally later 2-3 switch over to NHL while 1 stays on BF3 and we still chat with each other. Some may not need the feature, and I understand that, but for us we like it. Currently NO one else offers that feature on console. Even if PS offers it in an update tonight, I still prefer Live over it even though it would be free on the PS. Why should I get mad at Xbox for charging for it if I like their service?
