Pruitt "obviously" in trouble

Sounds like the big boosters have a meeting this evening to tell UT what to do.
You know---those STUPID sacks of excrement don't have a very good track record over the last 12 years of doing ANYTHING that has actually helped the program along--except for finally getting Fulmer in as AD.....

Be careful with this statement.

LSU, Auburn, A&M have better recruiting bases and a recency of success. The last 3 head coaches at LSU have won a national title. The last 4 head coaches at Auburn have either won a national title, had an undefeated season, or played for a national title. And A&M has had all the pieces necessary in place, but just hasn't done it.
AM are what their history shows. 9 wins and a wet fart. No championships.

BREAKING: He will be here next year despite your unhappiness because GUESS WHAT?!? there’s a damn pandemic going on.

He WILL be our coach next year. Get the F*** over it.

We need a coach who has done the following:

1. Has won or has taken his team to the National Championship game.
2. Has beaten Bama.

That leaves only a handful of coaches. Les Miles, Malzahn, and Chizik are three of them. I think Les has seen his best days and Kansas is just a complete mess that he can't even win there right now. Chizik hasn't coached in awhile and probably has no desire anytime soon. That leaves Malzahn. We at least owe Malzahn the chance to interview for the job if it becomes open. And would be a realistic option for us.

I think my man is caught up a bit too much in past glory. I honestly think he believes because UT is in the Top 10 for all time wins, it make UT a top 10 job right now.

While we've been down longer than any of us would like, Urban Meyer as of last year said this is a top 10 job in the country. I'll take his opinion on this matter over pretty much anyone else's.

So you're saying Fulmer?

This might be the dumbest thing posted today. At least the first 5. If those aren't Top 14 jobs then they don't exist.

And please tell me you aren't basing what a top job is based on all time wins.

Suggesting that this might be the dumbest thing posted today is hilarious. Did you miss the posts about hiring Dabo or Urban?

You can't base the quality of the job on the current head coaches performance. If we had Jimbo, Kirby, or Dabo, we'd be up there, too. And you can't put it all on recruiting bases, otherwise, Florida or Texas schools would win the natty every year. When Fulmer worked, he owned GA and SC and did well in FL/CA.

Historic wins are a factor, as well as $, fan support and facilities.

If you're so sure of your statement, tell me how the following 5 are top 14 jobs.

If LSU is a top 14 job, how'd they wind up with Coach O (laughed at as an HC prior to last year)? Remember Saban quit 'em and they fired Miles.

A&M's all about Jimbo. What makes that a better job? The 12th man? The bonfire? I remember the disappointment when they joined the SEC (they were Texas' poor little sister that couldn't compete in the SWC).

Auburn is Alabama's poor little step-sister that was dumb enough to fire Little Bowden and Gus...who are they going to get better than Gus - he's the only SEC coach that's beat Saban 3 times? The most impressive thing about Auburn is that they aren't afraid to pay a buyout - which they'll regret doing this time.

Georgia is all about Kirby (like A&M). They weren't an elite job when Richt was there...nor Donnan before him (hired from Marshall).

Clemson's all about Dabo (what a surprise, huh?). The last time they were in a BCS bowl before Dabo was in '81 ('58 before that). No way you can call a job a top 14 job if they hired UTC's head coach in the last 30 years.

I look forward to your response...

The investigation is the trigger to begin his buy-out negotiations. I like Sarkisian as replacement. Or Gus M. We need an offense.

He’s successful at schools that suck. He never won anything of notable at WSU. Literally players are quitting the team in Starkville because of him. His recruiting is trash. Good riddance.
Best wait to judge him after he gets HIS players there and has two more years to install his system. He'll have a better offense than this trash we've had to deal with
