That was the Vandy game. Probably more people at the spring game. Fortunately, there were many other seats with a better view. Unfortunately, those are my assigned seats. Working on getting a different spot for next season.

Oh, no confusion, you have done quite a job keeping this thread alive with your whining about his comment and unbelief that not everyone sees things as you do. There were 33 days in the Vols 2018 spring practice schedule (in which, they were allowed to actually practice 15 sessions by NCAA rule).

The coaching staff have reportedly been busting their humps over that month+, working 12-16 hours a day, 7 days a week.

With a 14-hour day on average, that's 462 hours devoted to improving the team during Spring camp. Or 27,720 minutes.

I think CJP sparing 2 minutes out of the 27,720 to talk about expectations and the fans isn't drawing him too far away from his primary duty. Yeah, think he'll be okay with that 'distraction.'

That's BS. If he had spent 15 minutes praising the fan base and talked about how proud he was to be a part of such a passionate program, you wouldn't have said chit.

Sincerely, good luck on your marathon (I have much respect for anyone who is active in things such as that). And since you aren't going to bench with me and I'm definitely not going to be in any shape to run a marathon by Oct we will just agree to disagree.

Sorry for the delay in my response as I had a family emergency and this thread blew up similar to the Gruden ones I was behind.

I run marathons all the time. Lifting moderately just to stay in shape. Im in leo and not getting any younger. But, anyway its alright to disagree, something thats lost on our society. Doesnt make either of us bad people.

Hope all is well with the family emergency.

If I was him I wouldn't call out the fans for anything till, oh I don't know, I get a win or two as a first time head coach maybe?

That's because you know how sensitive everyone is, he doesn't. I'm sure he thought we could handle it.

Guess he knows now. Maybe he'll start adding a few "is that okay sweeties"? at the end of his comments.
