Pruitt no show on the Jeremy Pruitt Show

I am starting to not like Pruitt's attitude about his show.

His recalcitrant, zombie-like non-presence is getting old. It's disrespectful to his host, the organization, and fans.

Yeah, I get it. He doesn't like doing it. He doesn't like Kessler Kessling. He'd rather be watching film or scheming.

Well, tough s**t. It's part of the job. He got paid more this year than most fans make in a lifetime to do the job.

He has set high standards and expectations for his players to execute at a certain level. He needs to man up and do the same.
Which do you want, a coach that coaches football and helps his team or one that makes you feel pretty watching his coaching show? Quit getting your estrogen count up and go chop some wood.

Did you watch the show?
Yes, I watch every show, and I love how he hate #$cks keisling, the entire time, it is absolute hilarity. You sir need to take ths stick out of your ass and understand the world isnt here to make you happy.

Well, so far he's about right on track with the lawyer and the car salesman. Only with a sour ass attitude. I'm not sure if he'll do well at UT or not, but I do know he's turning a lot of people off and donors aren't busting out the checkbooks.
Wah,wah, wah he isnt kissing my ass all the time and screaming about how good Tennessee traditions are, even though he has been at multiple other schools with just as much tradition, he needs to scream about how life altering running through the T is, even when our biggest rival and his alma mater does the same damn thing. I swear you need to get your T levels checked after this thread.

So, he has expectations for his players, but not himself. Got it.

Hey, I like the guy. I'm glad he's here. He's made remarkable progress and the future looks bright. But you have to wonder if his no show attitude in one aspect of his job is reflected on the field.

Regardless, it's disrespectful. He's not good enough yet to be too good to be bothered.
You don't know the reason, but you are speculating and wildly at that. I assume their was a good reason but you are implying that he doesn't and saying it's disrespectful regardless. I rememeber a few times Majors had to miss and probably even Fulmer at some point. You need to wait and see before you throw out stones. GBO!!!!

How conceited are we to see Pruitt as an organ grinder's monkey paid to dance for our amusement?

Pruitt was hired for the team, not for us. He was hired to rebuild a broken program, not to dazzle us with empty charisma. He likely followed the same creed my dad lived by: a closed mouth gathers no foot.

Let's say he was the charismatic chatterbox that some here keep begging for. Those same people would likely be raking him over the coals for empty speech and misplaced enthusiasm and begging him to be contrite and show humility in loss.

As soon as we realize that it's not all about us we can start putting our priorities in the right places. When I buy a ticket I'm hoping to be entertained, yes, but I also know I'm making an investment in the students' lives down on the field. It's good to feel a part of something. It's sheer entitlement to complain about the minutia (like a barely watched day-after show) that doesn't live up to your expectations.
Wonderful post. It gives me hope for VN. 1542636216498.gif

For the Nth time, he did not miss the show. He was there physically but not mentally. Like saying "the team didn't show up to play today" doesn't mean they physically didn't get on the bus or show up at the stadium. It's hyperbole. A rhetorical device. You would know that if you actually watched the show.

Just watched it, didn't see any difference in his mannerisms this week. He's the same whether we win or lose. I understand that he seems disinterested in the show, but this man wants to win and filming a show won't help us win. Also, it can't be pleasant to rehash your shortcomings on television.

Especially with a sunshine pumper like Bob, I just wish CJP would correct him when he says the wrong name.

That's even worse then, your like these folks that have to have a president smiling at them all the time catering to you instead of telling the truth. I just got up and seen the thread, I interpreted it that you were saying he missed it. Well now I really question you, you want a politically correct person it seems not someone that lets his feelings known. HE IS A FOOTBALL coach, what does he have to be happy about after a 50-17 game and he has to go do a show to tell everybody what we saw. We saw what he saw, I am glad he wasn't happy and was ready to go watch film and be with his coaches and players instead of sitting in front of the camera catering to folks like you that want the warm and fuzzies. GBO and get em ready Coach Pruitt and staff!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol I agree with a lot of things you say but this is ridiculous. I guess he should be happy we lost to Missouri and that even though our defense was in position to make tons of plays they didn’t and that gave Missouri the upper hand.

Bet you would sing a different tune if he wins against Vandy and then wins his bowl game.

If he is losing donors because of a TV show that happens once a week for 12 weeks we have bigger issues. Also, most donors have better things to do then to watch The Jeremy Pruitt show and also have access to people who are in the “know” that have real information.

So again this statement is ridiculous.

As the shows are taped after the games, not done live on Sunday mornings, I’m fine with the coach having left it all on the field. On the sidelines, I suppose.

I’d much rather him be reviewing the game in his mind and planning next steps. Hire some broadcasting or marketing major if you want perky.

Watch a show that is 1 hour long and 30 minutes commercials. The show is there for the commercials - UT gets advertising dollars. Best part is the player spotlights, imo.

"I don't like something he said about the T."

Good Lord. We could hire Saban and yall would still find something to bitch about. We've been a meaningless shell of a program for a decade. We were supposed to go 4-8 this season, but Pruitt rallied the troops to get a win AT Auburn and handed UK their third loss of their best ever season and yall still want to whine about petty crap?

I don’t like Bob! Can we get a new one?

I was hoping we could hire this one, Bob 2. Turns out he's no longer on this side of the grass.
