Pruitt Is Not The Answer

No, look around at the constant comments from our fan base. Those are why were stuck in coaching hell! 3 weeks ago Pruitt is the man, he's got us goin in the rite direction, better recruiter, gettin results, great evaluator blah, blah, blah. And the whatever happened, happened and now it's all fire, fire, fire...... Don't get me wrong, I'm not happy nor satisfied but we will never get back to being competitive if we continue to change coaches and schemes and types of recruits every 3-5 years. At some point we have to have continuity for a span to allow everything to gel. I do question decisions made by CJP anyone would but I still have more faith in him than I did others. I mean you can deny that he knows what a championship caliber team looks like and how it's made up coup that with ADCPF watching over the entire program that bonehead decisions would be addressed. Also, if we had a competent QB I honestly think we'd all have different attitudes and we would have different outcomes. And yes that's on the HBC, I agree. He has to go out and get a QB or put development of what we have in the express lane.

We hire rookie idiots. That's the sole problem. There hasn't been an unjustified firing in UT history. We have just made awful hires.

He sucks but he's back next year regardless. Just pray something starts to click. Another coaching change is the worst thing that could happen to us. The people around this program refuse to hire a proven HC for some reason
We’d rather pay former coaches more than a future coach

Yeah he's not a good coach.

Vol fans are the thrice-divorced, beat down, trailer park, three-toothed, drug addled, single mother of four that gets all excited when Deray, the Diabetic, slew-footed, Tow-Truck Driver asks her out whiles she's bussing tables at Denny's.

"Ya'll, I'm serious...This uns a good man! My babies just love'm".

So you really believe that he can beat Texas A&M?...Florida?!?...Auburn???...ARKANSAS?!?!...I don't see us winning any of those games...My god Vandy has me scared...We could go winless the rest of the season
3-7 is doable. Let's set the bar pretty high!

And we'd rather get out recruited by the likes of UGA because no one wants to spend any true money around this place!!! Where tf are the boosters at

I‘m not on the fire Pruitt train....yet but this is bad.

I looked it up to make sure it's accurate.

It's all 8 games against Florida, Georgia, and Alabama that have been played.

West Virginia, Missouri and Vanderbilt in 2018. Kentucky in 2020

Don't disagree but I also don't remember anyone beating the door down wanting the job either. Honestly, if I was a coach I wouldn't wanna come here to coach. You'd have to be damn near perfect or your job would be questioned and your "fans" would be calling for your head.

Fulmer extended the Pruitt contract to make it extraordinarily difficult to make a coaching change on his hire, thus extending himself in the AD role and extending his control over the football program, part of the Rick Barnes new deal was that he reports directly to the university president, not the athletic director

Pruitt cannot manage the competitivess and player development necessary to be relevant in this conference, Saban was coaching second and third string defensive players in the fourth quarter down to the end of the game, thats what head coaches do, aight

While that is a very ugly stat.... and I’m not trying to defend Pruitt..... Jones did leave the program in talentless shambles..... year three ass whippings should be minimal though

not disagreeing with you or anything but at some point we need to get over this narrative.

There appears to be zero player development and that’s what’s truly alarming.

What’s hilarious is that Schiano came right out of the gate and beat Michigan State. They are an absolute **** program and he already has them playing up. I’m still waiting for Pruitt to get his team up and playing above their potential and it’s been three years.
I don’t care if Schiano wins 10 nattys in a row. I would never want a man that observed what he did at Penn St and did nothing to be on the sidelines at my university.

Never thought I’d dislike a coach more than Pruitt.

He’s shown us nothing to make us think he’s an SEC HC.

Getting blown out by a below average UK team and getting embarrassed by your main rivals three years in a row is not improvement.

There’s nothing to be excited about.
The score doesn't indicate it, but KY was statistically destroyed by Missouri today...

That’s where I was going with the year three comment. You can easily point to JG being a big problem, but other than Oline, where have they really improved?
