I agree. Not being snarky but by what measure could TN be considered remotely more talented than Vandy? We may have an edge at a couple of positions. Otherwise, no.I don't think we are as talented as Vanderbilt. Sad to say, but it is true. We have a few stars sprinkled in, but then we also have some gaping weak spots...
It would be hard to sign right now. Would have to do some heavy cinvincing right nowWould you want to play here right now? We are now a program routinely getting beat by Vandy. We don’t sell out football games anymore because the product is so bad to watch. Our fanbase is beginning to grow apathetic after more than a decade of “rebuilding”. We have a staff that couldn’t get their team prepared to play an even,y matched team with a bowl game on the line. There’s not much to see that would make one feel like anything is improving.
Agree. He ain’t the right guy. He’ll placeholder for the next two years until we clean house again. And next time, the Haslams will be emboldened to stick to their guns when making the hire. Tennessee football is officially dead. This was a big test for Pruitt and his staff. A test they have failed miserably. These are two evenly matched teams from a talent perspective and we are taking a beating in every aspect of the game. Vandy players were well prepared and are stepping up making big time plays. Our team looks uninterested, undisciplined, and outmatched.
We clearly have a locker room full of losers, but this type of performance - against a team with lesser talent - is simply unacceptable. And it makes his sales pitch to the types of recruits we need much more difficult because this is a game we should never get blown out in.
UGA and UF are rolling and we are going backwards. Im not sure how the Pruitt-era will ultimately fare, but today was an opportunity to prove something. Instead, we proved we couldn’t even compete with a team comprised of equal or lesser talent.
Don’t over think this.
Offensive line is real bad. (There’s the offense.)
Defensive line is thin (few backups).
Linebackers are average.
Starting safeties are small.
Starting corners are true freshmen.
Coach has a long way to go.
It will take two more years of recruiting and development.
It’s demoralizing.

Get real. Look at any recruiting service. We out recruit Vandy, by a lot, every year. They develop and motivate and we apparently do not. Our classes over the past 5 years have been on par with Florida. Look at them with a good coach as us with our coach.I agree.
